"In truth I was skeptical about Sarahâ s cleaning to begin with. However, after speaking with her over the phone and seeing her work I can say with full certainty that Sarahâ s cleaning is an immaculate service. Not only is she very detail oriented and thorough but sheâ s also relatively quick in her cleans. Sheâ s able to do the work of Iâ d say about 3 home cleaners by herself. She makes sure to get in the hard to reach areas in her deep cleans, and makes sure to get every surface as clean as possible in her regular cleans and will always have your home smelling fresh upon her exit. In summary if you want a excellent cleaner for a good deal go with Sarahâ s cleaning you wonâ t be disappointed."

Small jobs welcome

Offers commercial services

"Faith and her sister cleaned my house incredibly well in a reasonable amount of time. They were able to get surfaces clear and sparkling that had been riddled with hard well water. They were both very friendly and kind. It was a pleasure having them in my home to help create a clean and inviting space. They also used higher end cleaning products and were conscientious of using the appropriate product on certain surfaces. I look forward to having Faith back in a few weeks."

Blind Cleaning questions, answered by experts

DIY cleaning is possible but may not remove deep dust, stains, or allergens as effectively as professional methods.

To maintain your blinds and shades, clean them regularly by dusting with a soft cloth or using a vacuum with a brush attachment. Spot-clean any stains or spills promptly with gentle cleaners. Be mindful of the material; for example, wood may require special cleaners, and you should avoid excessive moisture to prevent warping or discoloration. It is also important to inspect the operating mechanisms for wear, address any issues promptly, and avoid forcing them to prevent damage.

Insulating windows without plastic is usually the better method. Outside of simply replacing your windows, you could buy cellular shades, which trap air between the window and the home, add a window film that blocks UV rays and traps heat, or cover your windows with a low-emissivity coating called “low-E.”

Due to safety concerns, corded blinds and shades are banned in the United States. Recently, industry-wide government regulations were passed to outlaw cords based on the risk of strangulation for children. You can still get cordless blinds and shades or ones with inaccessible cords, but you can no longer buy traditional corded blinds.

You should replace your blinds every six to eight years, depending on the level of wear and tear and material of your blinds. Blinds that are warped or bent become difficult to open and close and usually harder to repair than they are to replace. Old blinds with frayed or exposed cords can also pose a safety hazard if young children are around.
