Small jobs welcome

"Ryan was great. Great customer service. Contacted me quickly after I posted my information. I wasnt going to be home…so I needed someone quick. Was out the next morning by 9am, plus picked up a few materials for me from Home Depot. Had the job completed quickly and efficiently. Job well done….definitely a 5 star."

"John was great. Came out to give the estimate the same day I called. Tree was split in half from the wind storm. He cut down the remaining part of the tree, cut it up in manageable sizes, put all brush in one pile. We are very satisfied and will have him back out in the spring for more tree removals."

"Great job. We needed a huge pile of dirt moved and Tom did that and it was perfect. We also needed some concrete poured and Tom cleared the area for the path. Great job, great price. Easy to work with, he wants to do a good job for you"

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

It is almost always necessary to hire a land surveyor near you to ensure your fence sits on the right side of the property line. Mistaking the shape of your property can lead to fines and costly changes if you have to move or adjust the privacy fence—not to mention some surly looks from your neighbor. We recommend jumpstarting your fence planning in the spring to ensure there is plenty of time to map out your plan before construction season.

A few different types of land surveys can help determine certain features and boundaries of your property. These include:

  • Boundary surveys describe the actual borders of a property. These are generally required when trying to get construction permits issued.

  • Location surveys provide much of the same information as a boundary survey but also include in-depth information about any improvements made to your property.

  • Mortgage location surveys are usually required by lenders and title companies before financing or offering an insurance policy.

  • Site-planning surveys are done before applying for building permits and can be issued before any major home improvements.

  • Topographic surveys provide a formal map of land elevations. It can also describe the location and size of natural features and any land improvements.

Land survey reports have a boatload of information relevant to several scenarios. Here are the types of information contained with a survey, though it depends on your chosen type of land survey. Exact boundaries and dimensions of a given property General topography, including both natural and artificial landmarks Location of utility fixtures, like water mains Confirmation of any easements or encroachments on a piece of property Assessment of land elevation to buy flood insurance Updated information to add to a pre-existing property map

Depending on property size and complexity, usually 1-3 weeks.

Detailed mapping of elevation changes and natural features on the property.
