"Crew of 7 worked 7 am (dawn) to 5 pm (dusk) in early December, hard-working & smooth working team, with foreman on site + project manager that checked in daily. Foreman checked in with me regularly as work progressed. Founder of this longtime family business came at the end to review job and receive payment. Removed old roof, replaced plywood underlayment, flashing as needed. Found source of ALL the leaks, installed flashing where it had been missing to prevent future issues. Looks GREAT!. Minor issue: quality of wood trim that had to be removed & then replaced; needs carpenter skills, not a strong part of their skill set, so I will have that upgraded in the spring."

SUNNY DAYS PAINTING was created in 1997 by Brian Beachner. Brian started out painting in the early nineties as a “weekend warrior” helping a childhood friend with his own painting business. What was supposed to be a way to make a little extra money turned out to be much more. He realized he was good enough to start his own business, one that emphasized customer service. Sunny Days has been growing since the beginning with a client list that includes well known doctors, lawyers, THE Mayor, Deputy Mayor, city councilman, county legislators, business owners, fellow contractors, and many, many homeowners all over NY state. Our crew of employees represent over 70 years experience in painting and home improvement and are all dedicated to their craft as artisans. We have been recognized as a preferred contractor by the LANDMARK SOCIETY and have worked closely with several neighborhood associations. Most Recently Brian made the tough decision to leave the business due to health and family reasons. After Careful consideration Ray Colon, a long time painter with Sunny Days decided to keep the legacy and reputation for quality work and customer service alive at Sunny Days. Building a custom closet costs about $2,000, on average. Because many types, sizes, and designs are available, the cost to build custom closets ranges from $250 to $6,000 or more. A reach-in closet is on the lower end of the price range from about $250 to $1,500, compared to a walk-in closet at $750 to $3,500 or a wardrobe at the high end between $1,500 and $6,000 or more.

When you are securing your DIY home office built-ins to the wall, you should start by locating the wall studs. You'll then want to use long screws to attach the cabinets, shelves, and bookcases directly to the wall studs. Your built-ins will be far too heavy to attach to the drywall alone by using anchors.

If you have a bathroom closet with movable shelves, you can place them at virtually any spacing that works for you. Useful measurements between shelves in the working, or middle, section can be 10 to 16 inches for towels or linens. Lower or higher shelving could be up to 24 inches between shelves to store lesser-used or bulky items or boxes. 

Since they are so fragile, it is not usually recommended to stack anything on top of your packed lamps. If you have sturdy boxes, and what you plan to put on top of them is of a similar weight, it’s okay to stack.

Clean regularly, avoid overloading shelves, and check hardware for wear to ensure longevity.
