"Scott was absolutely terrific. Fantastic communication before, during, and after. I knew exactly when he would come, he communicated with me while I was in the hardware store about what materials and supplies I was getting, and he communicated well on any needed follow-up. He corrected some tricky wiring and installation of two ceiling fans. He replaced old screens and built some new screens for many windows, replaced screen material and added pet-proof protective hardware cloth for screen doors, and he and his family laid a series of slate stepping stones and did a terrific job laying them flat on a sloped and curving surface. He worked on faucets and installed a driveway sign. There seems be nothing that Scott couldn’t do, fix, or diagnose. Most modern egress windows installed in basements open outward into a window well, although some older homes have in-swing windows. Egress windows, like casement windows used in other parts of the home, such as bedrooms and bathrooms, may open inward, and these windows are often larger than outward-opening windows.
