I have been in carpentry and construction for over thirty years. I want the people I do work for to love their projects. We are fully insured. All my employees are covered under workers compensation. We work with you every step of the way. Our work is guaranteed, so if your not happy we will fix it. We do all aspects of home remodeling, electric, plumbing, tile and flooring. We also do decking. "Very high pressure sales. For your own sake have cameras rolling during sales pitch. Don’t let them make you believe that the installation is done by Erie. Totally subcontracted. Talked us into choosing them even though they were 7k higher than other roofers with the promise of higher quality service that didn’t happen, job site was a mess had to inspect gutters they were not cleaned. They came back out cleaned said it was done got back up on ladder gutters still full and found damaged siding on back of chimney. After filling with BBB repairs and cleanup were done just not worth the higher price. Price started at $26 a square for metal and $15. For fiberglass after 4 hours of sales it came down to $21 metal and $10.5 a square foot fiberglass. I surely have buyers remorse hopefully this review helps someone in their decision. Also suggest reading this [*** Link removed ***] prior to reading all the A+ ratings on BBB Also make sure proper permits were pulled they did not pull one till after the install when I questioned it. Good Luck"

Concrete countertops can last a lifetime with proper maintenance. That includes regular resealing, waxing, and repairing any chips or cracks. At a minimum, they should last 20 years before major issues occur or performance drastically declines. The longevity of concrete countertops is a major reason people add them to their kitchens. It also makes up for the high cost of installation and added maintenance.

You attach solid surface counters with construction adhesive. Once your slab is ready, you fit it to the wall, apply the adhesive, and secure it in place with clamps until the glue dries. This usually takes several days. 

Afterward, you install the backsplash, faucets, and more. At this point, you can caulk the counter, allow it to dry for 24 hours, and then you're done with the installation.

While onyx is among the most expensive countertop stones, it’s not always the priciest. It is generally cheaper than Calacatta marble, which is highly sought-after for its rarity and bold veining. However, onyx still commands a premium price due to its unique translucency and delicate nature.

Engineered stone countertops range in price between $60 and $200 per square foot. The three main types are quartz, recycled glass, and sintered stone. The most affordable is sintered stone, which is ideal for outdoor kitchens and costs $60 to $100 per square foot.

Recycled glass countertops fall in the middle at $65 to $140 per square foot and offer a very distinct look. Meanwhile, quartz counters are on the higher end of the price range at $50 to $200 per square foot. Popular quartz options mimic the look of natural stones like marble and granite.

You cannot permanently seal a butcher block countertop. No matter what material you use as a sealant, all finishes wear over time and eventually require refinishing.
