"Anton did a very nice job cleaning and staining our log home. It had been neglected by the previous owner and needed a lot of work. He also replaced rotted siding on our barn, fixed some significant structural defects and stained it. A nice job and finished in a timely fashion. Anton was here supervising the job all the time. Would definitely hire again"

"Alberto and his crew were amazing. They were on time every day, and worked extremely hard at their craft. They were very conscientious and made sure we were happy with the project every step of the way. We had just bought the house, so they were very willing to work around other scheduled appointments we had made for other projects. Even as the project came to a close Alberto told us that if we were unhappy with any of the work or if we saw anything that needed to be touched up, he would absolutely come back and make sure we were satisfied. For the quality work that they did at the price we paid, we couldn’t have asked for more. I would absolutely use Alberto again, and would recommend him to anyone I know."

"I looked at several different companies and decided to go with Don Evans Painting due to several factors, one was Don himself, I found him knowledgeable and committed to his craft, his prices were competitive. Don's crew were pleasant, efficient and cleaned up after themselves every day. The job was painting entire home exterior cedar siding with some wood repair, they did an excellent job. I will certainly have them back in the future for any painting needs and will recommend them to friends."

"Luis Vargas and his team arrived promptly, they were very professional and explained any of my concerns. Some of the ends of the material came bent but they were able to straighten and complete the assembly. I am very satisfied with my new gazebo and I give Luis Vargas and his team five stars. I will definitely be using Luis Vargas and his team again, and I do recommend his company to others!"

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

Using concrete footers is the best way to secure a gazebo on a deck without drilling. The weight of the footers is more likely to hold your gazebo in place than other methods. You can also pour concrete into flower pots to create an aesthetically pleasing concrete footer or use concrete columns to make a statement.

To make the gazebo accessible, you can build a wheelchair pathway leading up to it. The path should be paved with a smooth surface for wheelchairs to roll through. A low curb should be placed along each side to ensure the wheelchair stays on the path. At the end of the path, build a wheelchair ramp connecting the gazebo.

On average, building or installing a gazebo costs around $5,700, with a typical range between $3,000 and $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. Material choice is a significant cost driver; for example, brick is often more affordable, while metal can be one of the more expensive options. Square-shaped gazebos can also be more expensive to build. Custom features, such as built-in seating or lighting, will increase the total price. You may be able to save money by purchasing a prefabricated gazebo kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.

Log cabins are relatively difficult to maintain compared to a traditional house. That’s because log cabins require regular upkeep and care that can include refinishing and corncob blasting, a process similar to sandblasting that shoots ground-up corncob with compressed air.
