"Everything was great. Jorge and Jason came to my house on time for an estimate. We met them at the Oneonta Builders show at the mall. The price was about what we expected to pay, so we hired them the next day. They showed up about a week later and began the work. They had the stairs taken out and the new ones in the first day, with most of the wall and built and drywall applied. The next day was painting, finish carpentry and they even bought me a mounting bracket for my big screen TV (as a gift for us using them) attached it to thwe wall and connected my television. Any little thing my wife and I were concerned about was taken care of immediately. It was an overall pleasant experience in this day and age where you hear about home improvement ripoffs. We wolud recommend them highly to anyone looking for remodelers. "

"High Tech recently re-brownstoned the co-op that I live in on 83rd Street and did an amazing job. The price that we got from High Tech was about half of what we were quoted from the next lowest bidder, but the work ended up being so beautiful that people walking by our building are stopping to take photos. High Tech reconstructed all of the old brownstone details that had been worn off and totally lost over the years. These guys were artisans and asked me for very old photos of the building, which they used to re-create the designs of the building details. It took a bit longer than I expected but It turned out so great!!! I never expected that they could bring our building back to it's former glory, especially given the reasonable price. Come walk by and take a look. A couple of years ago High Tech had done our stairs, which also came out beautiful. They got the detail right on that too. The brownstone stairs look so nice, they have rounded edges like the most expensive brownstones have. But again High Tech's price was the most reasonable of the bidders. The have also done some other smaller jobs for us such as re-pointing and again I was very satisfied with both the quality of the work and with the price. Oh, I almost forgot. The electric company did some work on our block and chipped tiny bits off of the new stairs and High Tech came and repaired it at no cost. I was very impressed with that since it totally above and beyond. "

They handled it of total care and stored it in our garage with all the very long trim pieces for installation next day. Kind of an unusual item to deliver so was concerned about the glass, scratching, damage. Again, 5-star handling and very pleased!!"
"The toilet needed to be replaced. I was told that I would only get the builder standard grade toilet even though I was signed up with the highest plan. The plumber was replaced my toilet with something that was definitely builder grade and not even close to what I had. I called CHOICE and they told me that it should have been replaced with something comparable to what I had. Twice they told me they were going to have my claim looked at and I have not received a call about it or any new information. The new toilet is wrong in size and specs and doesn't fit well where it is in the bathroom."
