We look forward to consistently amaze our customer's expectations & provide only the best service to Central New York. Satisfaction guaranteed or we'll come back and correct any problems completely free of charge!

"The first two times were excellent with both brothers. The next couple of times the job was attempted by one person , the job was not as complete as the other times. I had to remind them of things not completed or missed. Being prompt has always been an issue. I am going to have them come one more time and re-evaluate at that time."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

Post-dethatching, lawn recovery includes watering, fertilizing, and reseeding as necessary to restore health and promote growth.

Yes! Aerating your lawn during its dormancy period—usually over winter and early spring—can cause a disturbance that the grass may not easily recover from. Instead, you should aerate your lawn during its peak growth period, usually in the late summer or early fall (though with some variation based on specific grass type).

Break up hard dirt in your yard with popular methods such as core aeration or manual aeration with a spade, mini excavator, or pitchfork. You can also alter your soil to keep it from compacting in the future. Adding compost, groundcover plants, or aeration granules—preferably made of organic materials—can also soften your ground and encourage water saturation.

Costs depend on property size, service frequency, and additional tasks like aeration or overseeding.

Yes, you can overwater your grass. Depending on your climate, it could be easier than you think. While water is an essential element for lawn growth, too much of it can actually damage its roots, leading to rot and other damage.

Whether your drip irrigation system leaks, it’s been a rainy summer, or you use the sprinkler too often, overwatering your lawn can drive up your water bill and impact the longevity of your lawn.
