"I hired them to repaint our porch interior. While scraping, they found some sill rot. They repaired it, and it would be hard to tell where it was. They were fast, informative, efficient, and cleaned everything up when they were done. Sadly, I didn't take 'before' pictures. And, FYI, I would only give a 5-star rating if someone's services were free. As you can see, the porch looks like new. Great job!"

"What I thought would take one day to fix turned into 3, but you never know whats inside the walls of a house built in the 1800's ....which means nothing is an easy fix. I thank god I chose the right people to make my home safer and appreciate the extra time involved to ensure that"

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

At noon, when the sun is at its highest point, sunlight can naturally increase the temperature of a pool by 0.7 degrees each hour, but this can depend on other external factors. For example, evaporation caused by the sun will cause a pool to lose up to 5 degrees for every 1/2 inch of water evaporated. Using a water heater will produce more reliable results.

Yes, you will need to shock your pool with high levels of chlorine or bromine when you first fill it to kill off bacteria and pathogens. You’ll need to wait for the chlorine concentration to come back down to a safe level before swimming. After that, you can test and maintain the chlorine and other levels as normal. The only exception to this is if you get pool water delivered by a professional. In that case, the water might come pretreated, so you might not need to shock it.

While you can use a grounding rod when bonding an in-ground pool, that’s necessarily the best option. A grounding rod is an older grounding method that’s not usually used anymore, thanks to modern electrical design and services. Again, if you don’t have electrical experience, your best and safest bet is to hire a pool electrician.

A swimming pool is an excellent way to cool down on a hot summer day, but the moment you step outside of your pool, you start to lose those cool vibes. With an outdoor mister that’s either set on a timer or goes off when you need it most, you’ll be able to enjoy a refreshing mist without having to swim another lap.

Most importantly, you should never cut corners when building a pool. Whether it’s an in-ground or aboveground, poorly constructed pools are dangerous to both the swimmers and your property. Leaks can even lead to home foundation damage. While you can DIY smaller elements of pool installation, always hire a contractor to oversee the process.
