"Bill was the ultimate professional from the 1st phone contact till the job was done. He explained everything he could/would do and was honest about problem areas that might not get as clean. He measured the areas to be cleaned (no moving furniture) and carefully explained 3 different pricing options. With 2 dogs (and their "accidents") I was totally amazed with the quality of work! He was respectful of my furniture and went above & beyond in some areas. I would absolutely recommend this company! Very very happy from start to finish. You won't go wrong with Bill!"

"First used Preferred Choice in 2016 for window cleaning (based on Angie’s List reviews) and was pleased with their service, so decided to give them a try at Power washing my house and driveway….glad I did. I wanted someone who could deal with a variety of surfaces without damaging any of them. Aluminum siding, slate stairs, vinyl sunroom enclosure and concrete driveway. I did a walkthrough of work I wanted performed (for both estimate and day of work). The cost of the job estimate, and final bill were the same. The driveway was a real chore hadn’t been cleaned in over 20 years and looks great now. House and awnings were cleaned well, got rid of moss on North side of house that’s been annoying me. Vinyl siding which was filthy was also fully cleaned and not damaged which was a concern of mine since it’s a softer surface. The job was performed by two workers, took them better part of day. They were diligent in performing work and were polite and respectful in answering my questions throughout he day. They also moved and cleaned some items that were blocking work on concrete. I expected them to move the patio furniture, but not to clean them as a well, so that a plus for them. All in all, the two times I’ve used Preferred Choice, I’ve been completely satisfied with their work and would recommend them to others."

Couch Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

There are several reasons why your furnace filter might get dirty quickly. For example, if you run your furnace often, more air—and therefore, more contaminants—will flow through the system and clog your filter. Having pets is another reason that your filter accumulates dirt quickly. Also, thinner filters will get dirty faster than thicker ones.

While you can run your HVAC system without an air filter, it isn’t something professionals recommend—especially not for an extended period. It can reduce indoor air quality, clog air ducts, and strain your system. This can lead to performance issues, higher energy bills, costly repairs, and a reduction in the system's lifespan.

Professionals can enhance an A/C system’s longevity by optimizing settings and performing thorough checks on all system components.

Both an air purifier and a dehumidifier can help prevent future mold growth, but neither can remove existing mold. An air purifier will improve air quality and trap mold spores in the air, whereas a dehumidifier will reduce moisture in the environment. Keep in mind that you need to make sure your air purifier uses HEPA filters, which are rated for mold removal.

A correctly installed air filter will fit snugly in its compartment. One that’s too thick or big won’t lie smoothly, and it can block the airflow, sometimes resulting in strange noises. A filter that’s too small or improperly fitted may move around in the compartment, resulting in strange humming or vibration noises. Poor fitting can eventually cause a buildup of dirt in the HVAC ductwork, and reduced indoor air quality can lead to sneezing or excess dust on your surfaces.
