"The owner came my home and listened to our concerns of possible small animal problem. She listened then checked around our outside area then checked inside home spots for any sign of rodents or other things that could have taken up residence. After an exhaustive search in our home she assured us we were rodent free and had taken pickers which she shared, of each household spot we were worried about.Very courteous and did a great job exploring each area. All for a very favourable price. We would recommend this person and company of Wild Solutions to anyone."

Animal Fencing questions, answered by experts

Don’t let it run off without scaring it away through shouting, loud noises, waving your arms, or even throwing some rocks in its general direction if possible. You want the bobcat to get away with the thought that this place is not safe for them, which will dissuade them from returning.

Keeping your pool cover clean is a good way to keep smaller animals from running across it or using it as shelter. Small animals may use leaf debris on top of the cover to hide. Cleaning also removes nuts that may fall from a nearby tree that could otherwise be a tempting snack for some animals, like squirrels.

Small animals, particularly rats and mice, like to burrow inside pool heaters. To keep them out, seal any entry points with caulk or steel wool. Then, place mothballs inside or around your pool heater. As a final measure of protection, you can cover the pool heater in hardware cloth or wood paneling to further block entry points.

Signs of badgers in a yard or garden include large burrow holes 2 to 9 feet deep and 1 to 2 feet wide in your lawn or garden or under your fence. Badgers may even break through fences in some cases. Partially eaten fruits, vegetables, and animal carcasses can also be a sign. Look for bits of fur, bones, spines, and skulls.

To dispose of a dead iguana in Florida, first learn your local regulations. Litter laws may subject disposal in roads or bodies of water to a fine or jail time. Some towns restrict animal carcasses in trash bins. Instead, consider burial or cremation to get rid of an iguana. You may be able to dispose of iguana carcasses with a local animal control company, vet, or pet cemetery for a fee.
