"I was able to give the gentleman that came over instructions as to what Iwanted done, moving a lot of heavy things in the basement and and re-organizing items I could not move and he was able to do it well. I was actually able to go upstairs and take care of things without having to sit and watch him to make sure he did the work correctly. I was very happy with the work."

"I am extremely happy with AJ's service, start to finish. We initially reached out for an estimate at the beginning of 2015. A representative came to our house to explain all the different products as well as pricing and timing. I had reached out to 2 other companies before hand but was not comfortable their high pressure selling. AJ was very patient with us regarding our timing and budget. I received an estimate on the spot and was able to take my time to review and get back to them. We scheduled the work for May and was able to have 7 Windows removed and replaced in only a few hours. We are very impressed with the quick respond time, professionalism and quality of work including cleanup. We plan on using AJ to replace the remaining Windows as well as a sliding glass door in early 2016.

You can convert a pre-hung door into a Dutch door, but it’s more of a pain. Pre-hung doors are already set in the frame with the hinges and everything aligned, so once you cut the slab in half, you’ll likely need to adjust the hinge placement and maybe even mess with the frame itself. Instead of a bifold door, you might look into installing French doors, pocket doors, or sliding doors. Each has its own pros and cons.
