"It went extremely well. Jaime Rea and his crew were consumately professional. They finished their beautiful work on time and on budget. Jaime was great at communicating with me along the way. The siding went so well, that we then asked Jaime to help us with new rails (cable and cedar) on the deck and up the exterior stairs. He and his crew did a terrific job, again. Highly recommend Jaime Rea and Rea Pro Construction!"

"While we were happy with the completed work, we really wish Steve was available more to do the work in the mornings instead of afternoons. It was hard to nail down times with him but to be fair, it also snowed 3 of the 6 weeks he was working on our staircase. His prices were quite reasonable compared to others we interviewed. He even offered a reduced fee when the work became more extensive and stretched into additional weeks."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

Using concrete footers is the best way to secure a gazebo on a deck without drilling. The weight of the footers is more likely to hold your gazebo in place than other methods. You can also pour concrete into flower pots to create an aesthetically pleasing concrete footer or use concrete columns to make a statement.

Common materials include wood, vinyl, and metal. Wood offers a classic look, while vinyl and metal are low-maintenance options.

Clean regularly, seal wood surfaces, and inspect for damage or rust to ensure longevity and safety.

The main purpose of a gazebo is to provide a covered space for people to gather comfortably. They’re an excellent place for summertime get-togethers because the roof protects you and your guests from the sun. However, gazebos can also serve as a design feature, adding a bit of charm to a backyard or garden.

Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.
