"Bryan was did great work fixing a hole in our exterior stucco. He also proactively found a few things we hadn't noticed that could result water damage and sealed them proactively. He was very easy to coordinate with. If we have similar work to be done in the future we will be reaching out to Gomez Contractors again."

"Mr. Awais was wonderful. He worked with my husband but when he arrived, I was only available. He explained what they talked about and let me know what the steps would be. The weather made it difficult for me to see what it would look like when the cement dries but I am very happy with what I see now. I will definitely be using them again."

"I recently hired this construction company to handle the stucco work on my property, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, they were professional, punctual, and detail-oriented. The team took the time to prep everything properly, used high-quality materials, and made sure the finish came out perfectly smooth and even. They cleaned up the site every day, stayed on schedule, and communicated clearly throughout the project. You can tell they really take pride in their craftsmanship — the stucco looks fantastic and completely transformed the exterior of my home. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and skilled contractors. Great experience all around!"

"Khuram and his team did a great job with the bottom facade of the property. They took their time fixing it and made sure that they understood clearly what I needed done before doing the job. I appreciated the professionalism and the fact that the boss monitors the job to ensure its quality, and is communicative throughout the process. I would hire Metro Construction again!"

Customers say: Quality work

"Steve Tart (the son from Steve and Sons) returned my initial call quickly and came out to give me an estimate as requested. I was on a tight time frame because I am leaving the area and wanted to take care of this work beforehand so I won't have to worry. Once I decided to hire him, he went out of his way to schedule my small project - replacing the horrifically leaky downspout and cleaning the gutter. He came out when he promised, with all the required materials and tools. My dow spout is now complete and the work was done beautifully! I'm actually hoping for a storm so I can "see" how well it works! Steve is personable, easy to work with, and does great work. I couldn't ask for more! He is now officially my go to guy for any future work or any issues that crop up."

Stucco questions, answered by experts

Costs range from $500 to $2,000, depending on the damage size and texture matching.

Many general contractors can handle adding stucco siding, but it’s best to hire a local stucco contractor as you’re more likely to get a clean finish on your stucco siding that maximizes curb appeal. Stucco can be a challenging material to work with, so hiring a professional contractor who has years of experience and specializes in stucco application is advisable. Compare price quotes from at least three stucco contractors in your area to find the right pro for your task.

It’s not advisable to use CLR on stucco. CLR is a powerful acidic cleaner designed for removing tough mineral stains. Stucco is a porous material commonly made of cement, lime, and sand. The acidic nature of CLR can potentially damage or etch the stucco surface, leading to discoloration or deterioration.

It is best to use cleaning solutions specifically formulated for stucco or mild household cleaners mixed with water to clean stucco siding. Always test any cleaning product in a small, inconspicuous area before applying it to the entire stucco surface.

When hiring for your project, look for licensed, insured contractors with experience in stucco removal. Ask them for references, review their past stucco removal projects, and request detailed, written estimates. A reputable stucco removal contractor will explain the entire process, outline all costs, and ensure proper disposal and compliance with local codes.

The Mediterranean style is unique in that it’s designed for homes in hotter climates and to maintain a connection with nature. The building materials include stucco siding, clay roofs, and interior tiling with tall ceilings and open floor plans. These all come together to keep the interior cool. The building materials are all natural and tend to have muted earth tones, and the architecture typically allows for easy, open access to the outdoors through large windows and arched doorways. The decor and architecture can range from simple and functional to opulent, depending on the type of Mediterranean home it is.
