"You can't go wrong with this outfit. They called yesterday morning, then showed up in the afternoon and checked the job, gave us a quote and said they could do it this morning. They were here at 10:00 am. Did a great job, cleaned it all up and were gone by 10:45. It was a small 25' tree very close to the house. A previous company had said they couldn't climb it (too small) and would need a bucket truck that would have to be placed in the neighbors driveway. And they couldn't do it for 8-12 weeks and they were $100 more. Veterans Pride and be very proud. Great Job!"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Most tree removals take 3-8 hours, requiring additional time for stump grinding or debris hauling.

Consumers typically do not need to worry about the cost of tree insurance, as professional tree service companies pay for their own coverage. For a tree service business, an average U.S. policy covering about $1 million in general liability costs roughly $40 a month or $500 a year. More extensive policies, providing between $500,000 to $2 million in coverage, can cost between $3,000 and $6,000 annually, depending on the company's size and scope of work. Tree service professionals should speak with an insurance company to determine the right plan for their business.

Professionals use assessments, strategic cuts, specialized equipment, and safety measures to ensure healthy growth or the safe removal of trees or shrubs.

Pruning a tree is a yearly DIY job that involves removing small dead branches, leaves, and blooms to help the tree grow bigger and stronger. You can often complete the job with basic home gardening tools. Trimming a tree, however, removes larger sections to control the direction the tree grows in and protects your home, utility wires, and yard from potentially dangerous branches.

Full decorating services often provide rental trees for their Christmas packages, so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding one. However, individual interior decorators and others may not offer rented trees, so always check the specifics of their services before booking. Keep in mind that you’ll need to prepare the Christmas tree for pick-up shortly after the holidays.
