"We hired Rock N Gardens to install Unilock patio pavers in my backyard. During the entire process, Keagan was very professional and knowledgeable about the construction and design of the new patio. He made very good suggestions on how to design the layout of the pavers and the brick edging. He also recommended a different layout in the midst of the project when we realized I had not ordered enough pavers. Keagan was always available to answer our questions and to address our concerns. He always returned my calls and texts and was very patient with us. We had no experience installing a patio and Keagan helped us address our questions and concerns. The final patio looks great and the workmanship was outstanding. He went to great lengths to make all of the pavers line up and align well. I recommend Rock N Gardens for future residential landscaping projects because Keagan is good to work with and he can be trusted, and he will deliver a good product."

"Anton was easy to work with. Sent email on a Sunday. He called in five minutes and came that afternoon to look at the job. Replaced baseboard in four bedrooms and repaired a hole in the ceiling. All work was completed in two days starting that Monday. The carpenter that did the baseboards (I think his name is John) was great, neat and did a wonderful job. I will definately call Anton again. "⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I couldn't be happier with the work Legacy Concrete did on my front sidewalk. They removed the old, damaged concrete and completely redid the walkway, and the results are outstanding. From the initial estimate to the final cleanup, their team was professional, punctual, and highly skilled. The quality of the workmanship exceeded my expectations. The new sidewalk looks fantastic, has greatly improved the curb appeal of my home, and was completed with great attention to detail. The crew kept the work area clean, communicated clearly throughout the project, and made sure everything was done right. If you're looking for a reliable concrete company that takes pride in its work and delivers excellent results, I highly recommend Legacy Concrete. I would absolutely use them again for future projects. This company went above and beyond!"

Patios questions, answered by experts

Building a sunroom can take anywhere from two weeks to six months. An average-sized sunroom typically takes between two and eight weeks to complete, but more elaborate or larger projects can take longer. The final timeline depends on factors such as the sunroom's size, features, structural requirements, type, and whether it's a retrofit or a new build from scratch.

Yes, adding a sunroom can increase your home's value, with a return on investment (ROI) ranging from 20% for a screen room to 50% for a three- or four-season room. The amount of value added depends on the design. Fully insulated, temperature-controlled four-season sunrooms add the most value as they can be included in the home's total living space. In contrast, simpler structures like Arizona rooms or solariums typically have a lower return as they don't count as legal living space. A high-quality sunroom can also be an attractive feature for potential buyers, especially those who enjoy gardening. The value may also be higher in warmer climates where this feature is more sought after. When deciding, consider both the potential resale value and the personal value you will get from using the room.

In almost all cases, you will need permits if you plan on building a sunroom over your patio, but regulations and requirements will depend on your municipality. Permits to enclose your patio will usually cost between $300 and $1,000. Since navigating local building codes and zoning requirements is challenging—and the consequences of not following them can be extremely expensive—we strongly recommend hiring a sunroom builder to complete the work and pull the permits for you.

A deck is typically attached to a house and accessed via the back door. Decks are usually constructed from wood or composite materials. A terrace, on the other hand, is a raised platform that can be attached to or detached from the house and is typically made from a hard-paved material, such as paving stones. Terraces can be built on the ground or on the roof of a home.

Aluminum, vinyl, and wood all offer unique benefits for durability and aesthetics.
