"Reshma: (347) 453-9868 Run – do not walk to the telephone to call Reshma and Charlie. I don’t know where to begin. First they do this work in your spare time, so they are way more economical than any other contractor by many multiples. They were super fast (doing my job in half the time other contractors needed) and worked with my schedule. Second, Reshma has an excellent eye for color and detail. I’ve been having a hard time selecting a color, She was more helpful than any of the 3 of the designers I have hired – and she did not charge me for her opinion. Third, she treated my budget as if it were her own money. She passed along her discount at Janivick, she picked up the paint at Janivick so I would not have to pay the $20 delivery fee. Fourth, they are so dedicated, that they would often work late into the night to meet their deadline. Fifth, Charlie has an eye for detail. When I had mentioned work that I wanted him to paint builtins, he asked if I wanted him to caulk where they had come separate from the walls. I had even notice – he did. Fifth, they are just lovely people. I almost want to buy a bigger apartment so I can hire them to do the gut renovation. They took days off of their day jobs so that they could work on my apartment. I was away for the two weeks they were working on my apartment, and they sent pictures and keep me updated every day as to what was happening. Reshma Must’ve spent hours on Pinterest looking for backsplash and color ideas for me. Not only did they tell me what I should do, they told me but I shouldn’t do. Where I could save money on skim coating, where the color was incorrect… They are very upfront about what they can’t do – like electricity and plumbing. But they do know people who do this work so they can contracted out. I have recommended them to one person in my building, and they did a lovely job for her. A lot of contractors will give your price and then once they get going, they figure out that it is much more work than they intended. And then they charge you more. Not these guys. My ceiling needed to be almost completely re-plastered. Had these guys know that, they probably would’ve charged me three times as much. But they didn’t. They stick to the original price. I can’t praise Reshma and Charlie enough."
