This firm was outstanding to deal with. Very professional staff and what they promised they did. Even came back to touch up after it rained that night and some of the paint did not dry so it washed off. Came back as promised and finished the job. Highly recommend.

Feel free to bring in whites, creams, grays, and light browns for wall colors. For flooring, opt for natural wood colors or darker wood stains. Choose raw materials like undyed cotton, burlap, and wool for linens, pillows, and blankets.

Generally, any type of house paint, such as latex, acrylic, or mineral paint, will work for whitewashing. Paints with a matte or semi-gloss finish work best. If you have leftover white paint from another project, whitewashing can be a great way to use up paint that might have otherwise gone to waste.

Baseboard heater colors are subjective to the person painting them. Typically, baseboard heaters and trim are white, but it’s not to everyone’s taste. Lighter shades like gray and beige also work and offer contrast. If you want to hide them, paint your baseboard heater covers to match the walls so they simply blend in.

Bubbles can appear during painting for several reasons, but poor adhesion or trapped moisture are the most common. Painting over dirty, wet, or improperly prepared surfaces leads to air or moisture getting stuck under the paint layer. Using the wrong tools, applying paint too thickly, or working in extreme temperatures and humidity can also cause bubbling. In some cases, incompatible layers of old and new paint types, like latex over oil-based, create tension, leading to blisters and bubbles.
