"I think they treated the wrong lawn. The note they sent me via text message referenced trees and shrubs in my yard, I have none. They also did not leave a yard marker showing they had been there. Otherwise, this would have been a 5 star review."

At 24, I’ve built a strong foundation in outdoor property services, running my own lawn care and junk removal business since receiving my driver’s license. What started as a way to enjoy working outdoors and earn reliable side income has grown into a dependable operation focused on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. With years of hands-on experience managing physical work, scheduling routes, and delivering consistent results for homeowners, I’m now expanding my services to include professional pet waste removal—helping dog owners maintain clean, safe yards without the hassle. I take pride in reliable, respectful service and turning necessary chores into something customers don’t have to worry about.

"Serg was a great help...very professional and courteous.  He came to do a review of all the little jobs we had on our list and gave us a very reasonable quote. One issue was addressed within a few days..the others were completed in one day after we returned from vacation. The work on the outside of the house looks great...shutters are up and the other issues were fixed.  They actually did more than was expected. They also did a thorough job of cleaning up afterwards. After the interior work was finished, furniture was placed back in its spot and they vacuumed the carpet. My Town would be our first choice for any future projects."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

Skunks like to forage for grubs in the soil, like worms and insects, but they are also tempted by trash and pet food bowls, so keeping these items out of sight may help keep skunks away. Skunks also like to set up a den in dark places, such as a crawl space or outbuilding.

Using specialized equipment, they aerate thoroughly, alleviating compaction and enhancing root health.

Dawn dish soap is typically too abrasive to use on plants, even when diluted with water. The soap contains detergents that can strip away a plant's natural waxes and oils, which are there to protect the leaves.

Should you decide to make your own soap spray insecticide, it's important to choose a gentle soap that doesn't contain detergents or surfactants. Castile soap, such as Dr. Bronner’s, is a good pick.

How often you should maintain your yard depends on your climate and what season it is. A general rule of thumb is to maintain a lawn height of three inches.

Trimming or removing trees promotes safety, prevents interference with structures or utilities, and enhances the aesthetic and health of the property landscape.
