"I needed a fan installed in my bedroom and contacted Jeric for installation. He was both efficient and affordable. Plus he did a thorough job of cleaning after himself after installation"

"What a great experience.
Messaged Serge with the app on a Sunday night expecting a response Monday am. He got right back to me that night and scheduled an appointment to take a look on Monday.
Received a call saying he was running a little late - an actual call from someone letting me know of a delay. AWESOME. Turned out was only about 15 minutes - but nice communication!
An upstairs bathroom had leaked downstairs and through the ceiling. He gave me an estimate for the job and was able to come back Christmas Eve to complete. Hard worker!
He said he would arrive a 8am with another guy. Guess what - showed up at 8am on time! With two guys! They took off shoes, laid down blankets and taped up plastic to contain dust. So clean.
They opened the ceiling and walls, found the leak and repaired it rather quickly. They spent 85% of their time doing a PERFECT job of repairing the wall and ceiling. They took their time - and you cannot even tell where the wall and ceiling was open. Like an artist!
Entire experience was great. Would call them again for anything I needed done in the house. Really great guys.

"Installed tankless hot water heater and sump pump. Modified furnace to raise it. Steve promptly scheduled the estimate and quoted a decent price. He arrived on schedule and did a very neat installation. He included several details which we hadn't even discussed to complete the job according to code. Great communication throughout."

"Our exhaust fan/light was acting up and Mr. Jan came right out the same day and gave us a free estimate, and a convenient time that he could be back out. Mr. Jan was very polite and professional. He quoted us one price, however he was able to get the job done without extensive damage so he charged us less than what he quoted. A very well rounded gentleman. Thank you so much Mr. Jan. We really appreciate everything that you helped us out with we will definitely be giving you all the work that comes up around here. And we highly recommend you to anyone else. Great job we really appreciate what you did for us."

"They replaced my water heater. Called them Saturday and they replaced it Sunday. I've never before had to replace a water heater so I'm not sure if the price was right. But they had the job done in one day over a weekend which was fantastic and probably worth the price."

Ceiling Fans questions, answered by experts

Most ceiling fans have a lifespan of anywhere from five to 15 years or 10 years on average. Just how long your ceiling fan lasts depends on the quality of the parts, how much it’s used, and how well you maintain it. A fan with a weak motor that runs on the medium setting nonstop is likely to have a shorter lifespan compared to a fan with a powerful motor that runs on the slowest setting for air circulation.

Installing a ceiling fan where no wiring exists is a difficult and potentially dangerous job that should not be attempted as a DIY project. It is recommended to hire a certified electrician to build the necessary electrical infrastructure. In some areas, building codes require this work to be done by a professional to ensure safety and compliance. Due to the complexity, this type of installation is a significant job that could cost up to $2,000.

Ceiling fans are very often worth the investment because they improve comfort in your living space and help reduce utility bills. In the late spring and early fall—and even in the summer in some areas—homeowners with ceiling fans can often get away with open windows and fans, which can cut down on cooling bills and also reduce wear and tear on the HVAC system. Over time, ceiling fans can pay for themselves by saving you money on electric bills and air conditioner repair and maintenance.

Yes, you can install a ceiling fan where a standard light fixture is, as the electrical wiring is often similar and may not need to be replaced. The most important step is to ensure the ceiling can support the fan's weight and motion. You will need to replace the existing light fixture's electrical box with a fan-rated electrical box, which is specifically designed to handle the extra weight and vibration. These boxes will be labeled as suitable for ceiling fan support and will indicate the maximum weight they can hold. Before you begin, also consider if you need an extension rod for a high ceiling or a special mount for an angled ceiling.

There are many types of ceiling fans available, each designed for different spaces and needs. Standard ceiling fans are the most common type and work well in most rooms. Low-profile ceiling fans are better suited for rooms with low ceilings. Smart ceiling fans can be controlled with a smartphone or voice commands. For larger spaces with ceilings between 10 and 25 feet high, large ceiling fans are ideal. Dual-motor fans have two motors to produce more airflow in multiple directions. You can also find energy-efficient or Energy-Star models that can be up to 60% more efficient, as well as fans with built-in lights or retractable blades.
