"Anton did a very nice job cleaning and staining our log home. It had been neglected by the previous owner and needed a lot of work. He also replaced rotted siding on our barn, fixed some significant structural defects and stained it. A nice job and finished in a timely fashion. Anton was here supervising the job all the time. "Dan and sons came right at the beginning of the pandemic. We were knocking down walls and doing a new kitchen, tile floors and backsplash. It was a difficult job with our old home. The construction they did was awesome. Dan came up with ideas to help with my vision and they are perfect. We had a gathering recently and people could not stop talking about how beautiful our home is. Now the reason not all 5's is I am a very fussy person about little details. That is why I did not give all 5's. Felt they rushed a bit to finish. To be honest I don't blame them, I was overwhelmed and snippy at the end. They did the very best they could do in the circumstance. I may have left a bad review at one time, but to be honest it wasn't fair. As I look at my home now it brings me nothing but joy. He came recommended by our architect, and we hired Dave to build our custom 3br, 3ba modern home in the woods of Woodstock, NY. He was head and shoulders above the other contractors we interviewed in terms of thoroughness, communication, availability and ease of collaboration. The home he built was within 5% of our agreed-upon budget (and that 5% wasn't even his fault — it was unknowable site complications) and we did it 3-months faster than anyone else quoted us was possible. "Hugh's three workers were fantastic. They completed the work on the deck replacement in a day-and-a-half. The work was done cleanly with no damage to the landscaping that is so close to the project. Clean up when the project was completed is superior to any other we had done in the past. The refurbished storm door looks brand new and is a welcoming addition to the project. "I had used Remodeling Concepts in t he past for a home addition + siding + roofing and was extremely satisfied with the result. I called Derek just to see if he could recommend an electrician. Instead, Derek sent over his own company electrician to review the work to be done. Martin (electrician) did not want to open the ceiling for fear of damaging the soffits. He instead said he would run the wires thru a 2nd floor outlet to the porch. We set a date and time and he was at the house right on schedule. The job turned out to be more difficult than we thought but Martin was patient, professional and persistent. He managed to snake the wires and install the fans. I am very pleased with the work.
