"First of all let me say this. If you are in the Bergen County NJ area and are savvy with online reviews then you will most likely do what I did and get 4-5 estimates from the 4-5 best rated/highest reviewed companies on angies list/google reviews/homeadvisor etc. Which includes Purely Waters Kinetico system (approx $3000, avoid it). Passaic Bergen Water softening and Advanced Water (Both companies owned by the same person now since 2017). NMP Water Systems is without a doubt the BEST company out of all the top choices. I consider my self a good judge of character and have renovated my home for almost 100k in the past few years so I have dealt with many contractors. This company, by far, was the most professional, knowledgeable, honest, and trustworthy out of the 5 companies my wife and I interviewed. No salesman and sales pitches at all!! Tim, the owner, absolutely did whats best for us and took all of our concerns into account. He's the one that suggested an extra spigot to wash my car with soft water and only charged us $100 extra to do so. He used pex tubing and copper piping. He took his time in creating a seamless install. He even offered to run the RO water through our refrigerator as well so that the ice would be treated and so we would never have to spend money of frig filters again!! Tim was also the only person that suggested leaving the RO system in the basement rather than under my kitchen sink to save on space and then when he installed the tubing up to the kitchen sink, my wife and I, were amazed how great of an idea that was. The 2 employees that worked with Tim were incredibly professional and well spoken. They put down several tarps over the wooden floors/rugs etc. When they left and we went to inspect our basement, you could hardly tell anyone was there for 5 hours. Their ability to finish and provide amazing customer service was really refreshing. We didn't have to repeat ourselves over and over again to make sure everything was installed the way Tim and I discussed. NMP also was the only company that offered us a 10 yr warranty on PARTS and LABOR for both systems! NMP's price just also happened to be the most competitive for the exact same product other companies were offering. Tim and the crew were punctual during the 1st appointment and the subsequent install and we couldn't be happier! Tim also applied for permits with the town of Fair Lawn and did not charge extra to do so. Thank you NMP for such great work and for relieving us of the stress of hiring a water treatment contractor. For anyone reading this review, please consider, at least, getting an estimate from NMP so you can see why I'm so enthusiastic about my experience. "I first met Andrea twelve years ago when I moved into my new home. I was looking to do something special with my kitchen and had decided to put a small mural of the French wine country over my sink. Andrea convinced me to purchase a larger size than I had planned for and suggested adding a contrasting backsplash. The result was phenomenal – everyone who walks into my kitchen compliments me on how beautiful it is. Luckily, I kept Andrea’s card so when I decided to resurface my living room fireplace with mosaic tiles and marble I contacted him. The job was much more complicated than anticipated – my fireplace has an arch on top of the mantle that gradually comes to a point. There were rounded edges and very uneven surfaces that had to be dealt with. The mosaic tiles on the sides had to be hand-cut and pieced together so the pattern matched the front of the fireplace. Andrea took the time to make sure everything was perfect; we originally were going to use edging strips but he decided to take additional time to individually bullnose each piece to give it a cleaner look. The result is absolutely gorgeous – it changed the entire look of my living room. Besides being a perfectionist, Andrea is really a great guy. Each night, he made sure everything was clean and put back the right way; he even wiped down my staircase before leaving. When he and his assistant Rafael (who went out and shoveled my walkway and car during a snowstorm) left, I felt I was saying goodbye to good friends. There are very few craftsmen these days who take the time and patience to do a job the way. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a real artisan – I guarantee you won’t be sorry!"

"We were pleased from start to finish with the installation of the crown moulding in our guest bedroom.  We were satisfied with the quality of the work and how beautiful the moulding looked.  Anthony Gandolfo and his coworker Bob treated us in a friendly, courteous yet professional manner.  They were knowledgeable about all aspects of the installation and addressed all our questions and concerns.  They matched up the design on the crown moulding in every corner of the room and even shaved the moulding in one area to compensate for a low spot in the ceiling to perfection.  We were confident choosing this company to do the job since they were on Angie's List.  We highly recommend Gandolfo Contracting  of Long Island, NY (516)882-7912 to others.  We look forward to working with them again.
