"Got our dryer vent cleaned out. I did not realize that every dryer vent should be cleaned out at least once in a while. Ours was fully plugged and the dryer smelled like something was burning. First I thought I needed an appliance repair company, but they don't clean out the vents. They suggested a plumber, but they don't do this either. I finally found Pure Air and they repaired part of the hose where it was shredded and completely cleaned out the entire system. I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you don't know when the last time you had your dryer vent cleaned, call them ASAP. It could save you from having a fire."

"Had the house and driveway cleaned. What I big difference. They coved the things that shouldn’t get wet. Was able to get the job done in the same day. Driveway and house looks like new. They cleaned everything up everything and the next morning all I had to do was put the furniture back and admire the great work that was just done."

I am a local homeowner able and willing to help out on small to medium home and business projects. I have computer skills, data skills, and can also help with cleaning and handyman services, concrete repair, gutter cleaning, etc. I don’t have a truck and rent some equipment as needed. Everything is discussed ahead of time. You send me a request and I send an estimate with a brief plan. \n\nI prefer to help locally and focus on our community and neighbors, including businesses and multi-unit homes as needed.

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The cost of removing snow from a roof averages between $300 and $700. However, this cost can range from $200 to $3,000, depending on the size of your roof, the amount of snow, and roof accessibility.

Since snowfall can range from light powder to heavy and condensed snow, part of the price of roof snow removal depends on the amount and type of snow. For 12 inches of snow, you can expect to pay between $200 and $2,000 for this job. However, for 24 inches of snow, that price rises to $300 to $3,000.

If you’re painting your home or monitoring a job as it’s being completed, squash the issue ASAP if you notice paint is getting onto the roof. Keeping it clean is one of the keys to extending your roof’s life.

Removing latex paint before it dries is much easier and lowers the risk of damaging your shingles (more on that below). Simply spray the spot with a hose for one to two minutes to clear away the drying paint. In general, this is a good way to remove ugly stains from your roof without using chemicals.

You should clean your panels at least twice a year. It depends on your location. In dusty climates (think the Arizona desert), you may need to clean your panels more frequently. Dust can dramatically impact the electrical output. If you live in a climate with extreme weather, you may want to check your panels seasonally.

Walking on the roof to clean gutters is unsafe and not recommended due to significant safety risks. It is especially dangerous on steep or slippery roofs, or if the roof is wet or covered in leaves, which increases the chance of a fall. In addition to personal injury, walking on the roof can damage shingles, potentially leading to water leaks. Instead of walking on the roof, use a sturdy ladder positioned on a stable surface to access the gutters. Be aware that using a ladder also carries risks, as it can be difficult to maintain balance while performing the work. You can also use ground-based cleaning tools. For safety reasons and to prevent damage to your roof, hiring a professional to clean your gutters is the best and safest option.

Moss grows in dark areas of roofs, including in corners and gutters. If left alone, it can grow under roofing and cause permanent damage. Here’s how to remove moss from metal roofs

  • Soak the moss to soften it

  • Scrub it away with a soft-bristled brush, or pick it off with your hands (be sure to wear gloves)

  • Use a moss remover that’s compatible with metal roofing, following the manufacturer’s directions

  • Remove dead moss and rinse the roof thoroughly

  • Prevent future moss growth by trimming branches, cleaning gutters, and attaching zinc strips to moss-prone areas
