"Carl created a beautiful landscape design for both myself and for a mom like friend. When I drove up the driveway for the first time when it was finished - I gasped. Far exceeded my expectations. I feel like Carl knows everything about every plant! His knowledge and professionalism were so appreciated. And the time he took to explain how to care for it all was also super helpful."

I had a garage that I demoed what was left with the foundation footings I just could not believe how much he ripped that up four loads in the truck graded it out he did a beautiful job. "Tom and his crew took on the reseeding of my lawn front and back and both sides of my home. With ease that only cones with knowledge and experience Tom and his crew completely reseeded the lawn. In 2 visits both the top soil and reseeding was laid down. My lawn is not perfect when it comes to being even. C. C. Took great care in laying the top soil to help even out the lawn. Tom offered his sound advice about the watering process. With patience and diligent watering the grass seedlings sprouted evenly. Tom made sure to stop by to observe and offer suggestions to ensure continued growth and a thick lawn. Since then Tom and his crew have bern scheduled to cut and clean my lawn. Correct Construction also performed other projects which i will gladly offer my review. Robert H John H"

"We are in the middle of repairing our lawn which was destroyed by grubs and moles. Max has been treating and seeding it. It is looking better each day. He hasn't finished, but I have no doubt that it will be wonderful when he's done."

"I had repairs made to the lights and outlets installed in my attic, new fan and recess lights installed in my bedroom, and dimmers installed around my home. The work was meticulous. Every step was explained to me in a way that I could understand and make an informed decision. As a woman, I felt respected and as a client, I felt appreciated. Such a great experience. Highly recommend."

"Had a backup a few days before and wanted to determine if it was a simple clog or cesspool related. They sent out a tech (Jimmy) the same day. He located both cesspools and walked me through my options. He was honest and patient, answering all my questions along the way."

Small jobs welcome

"Carlos did an amazing job! He was quick and efficient. Came home from work and my house was lit up. All colored smart bulbs, soffits work with an app, up lights work with a remote. We will definitely be working with them on future projects."

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

Grass is the most popular and safest option for planting over a septic drain field, but you can also plant small flowering plants and other lightweight plants that don’t have woody or deep roots. Avoid trees and bushes within 10 feet of the field, as the woody roots can crack the perforated pipes. You should also avoid planting vegetable or fruit gardens over your drain field, as a leak from the pipes could contaminate the soil and put anyone who eats the produce at risk.

By definition, gardeners are experts at designing and maintaining outdoor gardens. Their job duties extend far beyond choosing the right plants for the area, which in itself is a job—they also help maintain the health and well-being of the plants. Gardeners work independently or for landscapers, nurseries, or horticulture design companies.

Yes, such as sod installation and erosion control for comprehensive site improvement.

In most cases, buying plants from a local greenhouse or nursery is well worth the investment, even though they tend to be a bit more expensive than those at a home improvement store. Employees at nurseries are usually well-versed in gardening and understand how the climate in your area affects different plants. They can help you make selections based on your skill level and time commitment to your landscaping, and they can provide detailed care instructions and advice to help keep your plants alive and diagnose and treat issues like pest infestation and illness.

Unless it only rains once in a blue moon where you live, you’re going to want water-loving plants in your garden bed or pot. A few ideas for plants that aren’t super fast-growing (meaning they’re good in pots or near foundations) and can handle a lot of standing water include:

  • Acorus (Sweet flag)

  • Colocasia esculenta (Taro or elephant ear): In many climates, these are annuals, making them less desirable because you need to adjust the chain again after each replant.

  • Equisetum scirpoides (Dwarf horsetail rush): non-dwarf varieties of horsetail are fast growers and can take over quickly.

  • Juncus effusus (Curly rush)

  • Osmunda regalis (Royal fern): Royal fern can grow quickly but can also handle being crowded, making them good container plants.
