"I HAD ATLAS FENCE OF EAST SYRACUSE INSTALL A BEAUTIFUL WOOD FENCE IN 2015, THE WORK, PRODUCT AND OVERALL SERVICE FROM START TO FINISH WAS EXCELLENT. AFTER MANY YEARS OF HEAVY USE OF MY GORGEOUS DOUBLE GATE THE RIGHT SIDE GATE POSTS NEEDED REPLACEMENT. Automatic gates are also much more complicated than manual gates, with tech-heavy components that make them more expensive to repair.

If increased security is your bag, you may want to steer away from a simple wood gate. After all, it’s pretty easy to cut through wood. Instead, go for a metal gate with an advanced locking system. Even better? Install a high-tech automated barrier system similar to those found at commercial facilities. However, you’ll pay handsomely for the privilege.
