When the going gets tough he keeps going by accepting the challenge and works it through to the end. Only complaint, coordinating his work schedule with me. "We hired Joe to repair and replace the roof of our bookstore which we acquired in 2021 (a Victorian era brick and limestone building, 100+ years old). The roof is a 3000 sq ft flat commercial roof with latex waterproofing which has been patched over the years, but it’s likely been more than 30 years since major repairs were done. In the ensuing years, ice and snow have produced damage, and we saw major leaks by the winter of 2023. This damage was primarily in the boards (under the waterproofing) and ceiling rafters. Where possible, Joe made repairs, but where necessary, he replaced all materials. He added new insulation and new latex waterproofing throughout, He jacked portions of the ceiling rafters and repaired or replaced here as well. It was a huge and difficult job. He did excellent work. We are very happy with his work. As far as we’re concerned, he saved our bookstore."

We had two full bathrooms completely re-done as well as new kitchen counter tops and laminate flooring installed. Emily LaRose, the designer, is the consummate professional designer. She has a firm grasp of design concepts and gave us functional and beautiful designs. She is a skillful communicator, equally strong at explaining choices and listening to and addressing our concerns or preferences. Emily kept the projects on track and made herself available for our questions. Our initial choice for laminate flooring for the kitchen was discontinued by the manufacturer. Emily immediately contacted us, and we met. She presented other recommended choices that would work with our counter top choice and existing cabinetry. We ended up with beautiful flooring and an on-schedule installation. Emily visited our home throughout the projects and always answered our phone calls and emails promptly. She was extremely helpful and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Further, all the other Kitchen and Bath World staff we met were very helpful, and we felt completely comfortable having them in our home. Greg, the lead installer, has an outstanding work ethic and outstanding construction / remodeling skills. Greg did meticulous work, and our home was always left in pristine condition at the end of the day. We will be recommending Kitchen and Bath World to our family and friends!"
