Customers say: Quality work

"We just had our driveway completed by King Pavers. We had a very old concrete driveway the required removal first. Julio and his team did the job efficiently and were very clean and careful not to disturb the surrounding areas. We had a new paved walkway and stoop installed and the work was so beautiful we asked Julio if he had time to put in retaining walls for our flower beds as well. He was able to complete the flower beds and driveway in just a few weeks and we are very happy with the result."

"John came and and did the work and called me since I was not there when the job was done. He also texted me photos of the work as he and his men were doing the job. I would highly recommend him."

Asphalt Driveways questions, answered by experts

Regular sealing, crack filling, and professional inspections help extend pavement lifespan and prevent costly repairs.

This creates a risk for your driveway to fail after asphalt curing because it doesn't have a lasting bond with the surface. In order to get asphalt to perform as intended, it's necessary to prepare the dirt surface correctly first. The loose soil base under the new driveway must be compacted until it is stable enough to support the weight of the asphalt.

Your city or county will have guidelines about the minimum and maximum width and length of private roads. The average private road is 12 feet wide, and length, of course, depends on your property. Requirements also depend on the amount of traffic and types of vehicles your road experiences. Check with local ordinances before planning a road on your property.

Yes, using recycled asphalt millings is an eco-friendly alternative compared to concrete. Millings are reclaimed pieces of gravel that are recycled into aggregate that can be used on driveways, patios, walkways, basketball courts, tennis courts, and more.

When asphalt cures, it typically changes from a very dark black hue to a lighter, more matte gray color. Cured asphalt also won’t be tacky or sticky to the touch or emit any odors from the asphalt mix. Additionally, the surface of fully cured asphalt won’t deform under any pressure.
