"Peter did a complete bathroom he did the gut he did the reinstallation he did the sheet rock he did the spackling he did the floor there although the leveling in the grouting he did he did the plumbing he did the electrical he put high hats in the ceiling he put exhaust fan in the ceiling with access to outside he replaced the switches put new switches in electrical outlets are GFIâ s he put in he did a nice border around the top of the tile under the bullnose around the whole entire bathroom would highly recommend the job came out great OK I would highly recommend Peter for all your bathroom and other construction needs thank you."

"Eddie was great to work with! We had a limited time frame to adhere to town inspections and Eddie and his team knew exactly what we needed and quickly got the job done. The results were great and even the inspector acknowledged the impressive repair. They were able to put a knocked out garage wall back on the foundation and repair the interior dry wall. Plaster itself has a higher R-value than drywall. However, there are other considerations surrounding plaster and insulation. As a general rule, it's easier to obtain consistency in insulating value and quality when working with drywall rather than plaster. Plaster walls often don't contain any insulation behind the wall covering by design, and careful evaluation is necessary when choosing to add it.

It’s highly recommended to use studs for a TV mount. The last thing you want is to be watching your favorite show when the TV falls off the wall. Studs are much stronger than drywall and quite a bit stronger than drywall anchors but, if you can’t find the studs or there simply aren’t any where you need them, you can use drywall anchors. It’s extremely important to make sure the anchors are rated for the load of the TV. We recommend using anchors that are rated far beyond the weight of whatever you’re hanging. Our suggestion is metal drywall toggle anchors. 

The two most common drywall thicknesses for ceilings are 1/2-inch and 5/8-inch. For most standard residential applications, 1/2-inch drywall is sufficient and widely used. It provides adequate support and is lighter and easier to handle during installation compared to thicker sheets. However, 5/8-inch drywall is often used for specific cases where additional benefits are needed. It is heavier but provides superior sound dampening and fire resistance. You should consider using 5/8-inch drywall for ceilings in commercial buildings, between a garage and a living space, or above a finished basement to meet building codes or for enhanced soundproofing.

Drywall can get wet and dry out without sustaining permanent damage, but only if the water damage is minor. If you have a small leak and are quick to correct the issue and set up blower fans and dehumidifiers, your drywall should dry out. If the leak is persistent, the drywall becomes totally waterlogged, or mold begins forming on the drywall, you should remove and replace it.

The tool you use to sand plaster will depend on the size of the project. If you’re just working on a small section of your wall to get rid of an uneven spot on the surface, hand-sanding might work. However, for larger projects, a drywall sander can make a huge difference when it comes to both time and elbow grease—and an orbital sander can help for detailed areas such as around ceiling fans.
