PlumbingPro is a local business, and we have used before for routine repairs (replacing stems on sinks/tubs), but this was the first time for a larger job. There was a drip-drip leak from the area where the bath tub drain pipe joined the pipe under the floor. (It was accessible in our unfinished basement, with a ladder.) Our house is 77 years old, so the plumbing a worn and pretty fragile. Plumbing Pro sent Chris, a senior man to see what the problem was. He spotted it right awayL a crack or hole in the connector between the tub drain pipe and the outflow plumbing. He made appointment to do the repairs the next day. Chris and his assistant George arrived on time, and went to work, which involved moving he washing machine and removing fiberglass insulation around the work area (the basement ceiling. Chris commented that one of the water hoses on the washing machine looked like it was going fail "any minute." I approved replacing it. To fix the tub drain leak required cutting out the old pipes, replacing the tub drain, all connectors, and replaced the old pipes with modern PVC. They also replaced the tub's hot and cold water valves and a new, modern water spout. Chris and George put the washing machine back in place, and hooked up the new hoses. The drip problem was solved! The new faucet valves and spout seemed to work perfectly -- for a day or two. And then, after using the shower and turning off the water, the hot water knob would slowly turn by itself, and the water would run, at first a trickle then a flow. Using duct-tape and later a length of string, we got the knob in to stay in place over the weekend, and called Plumbing Pros on Monday. They seemed familiar with this type and problem and made an appointment to come fix it the next day. Chris and George showed up on time, and took the tub valve apart. From their conversation, it sounded like they had gotten some bad valves from a supplier. They swapped it for another valve, and this problem was solved, too. We haven't been billed for this follow-up. As far as the cost of the main service, I have no idea if it was a reasonable amount. The two men worked more than three hours, and seemed skillful and careful. We hadn't called them to replace the washing machine hoses, but it was probably time to do so. And I didn't ask them to replace the tub faucet valves, but I am very glad they did. So, I am satisfied with the job, and what it cost. I prefer to use local people when I can, and I'll probably use Plumbing Pro in the future, if something lets go in "this old house."

They have always been very cooperative. We have a defective toilet, they have been very patient with coming back to us and trying to resolve that issue. I have been very satisfied with them.

I've known him for years. We were leaving for vacation and there was a problem so I left a key for him.

Juan and Danny were excellent.  They were on time, professional, and courteous. I will definitely used Plumbing Pro again.

These guys were extremely clean and neat.  My basement is finished and some holes needed to be cut in the drywall ceiling.  Drop clothes were down all over.  They used a shop vac while cutting the drywall to suck up a lot of dust and debris before it hit the floor.  They saved the pieces of drywall and actually put them back when they left so no open holes in the ceiling (I was thrilled they cut it so neat and put it back up for me).  It was a two day job and at the end of each day they swept up and vacuumed - including the stairs down to the basement and the entrance way.  They put cardboard down where they were working outside by the gas meter!

They showed and explained what they were doing each step of the way and did what they could to minimize the work (multiple pressure tests on different sections of pipe to see if they held).  All of the new pipe they put in was very well done and routed to minimize joints.

They ended up having to re-pipe the entire system and again they did a great job - the work was of high quality and they went above and beyond to be clean.

WHILE FIXING THE LEAKS HE BROKE ONE OF THE PIPES. I WAS CHARGED ONE HUNDRED AND FIVE DOLLARS AN HOUR, AND I STILL HAVE LEAKS. HE SAID BREAKING THE PIPE WAS NOT HIS FAULT, BUT THAT IT WAS OLD.
