"Got a same day appointment and he showed up on time and quickly got to work. Problem was diagnosed promptly as a clog in the line from the basement drain to the main sewer line. This required only the smaller of the tools which was very fortunate. He also offered to look at another issue with a bathroom sink drain, spent time troubleshooting, and made recommendations and gave an estimate for the appropriate fix. Overall, the work was completely quickly and accurately."

"We hired Nick for three jobs as above. Nick himself is very personable and easy to talk to. He or one of his team showed up on time every time and finished the work quickly. However, much of the actual work was done by his team and I fear they may not be as skilled as Nick himself. After 1 and 2 years respectively for each bathroom, our grout has cracked and there are small leaks. While the overall price was fine, in both bathrooms, where was some awkwardness that resulting in us paying more than expected. In the first Job (tub and surround), Nick had offered to honor a coupon purchased through Angie's list. Although he did apply the dollar amount of the coupon, he didn't honor any of its savings. Perhaps I just misunderstood, but I think he could have been much clearer about his policy on this. In the second job, the estimate included the shower door install. At the last minute, he changed it so that the door install was separate, again increasing our price unexpectedly. I didn't wish to argue, so I just paid it. I think it's important to completely clear about all price-related expectations up front and I believe Nick could improve this part of his business. To be fair, even with the misunderstanding, the prices were fine, but for the awkwardness, I had to rate "price" and "professionalism" at "C"."
