"Not a lot of guidance as to different options of ACs.  Was supposed to call in advance to speak about this.  They never did.  We spoke generally about my needs, and that was all.  Didn't get a call to finalize, as they said we would.  Held my feet to the fire on day of installation.  Threatened to walk off job during a heat wave.  Said I was "wasting daylight" and that they "were doing me a favor" during a heatwave.  On the positive, the A/C works great.  Think we got a fair price.  The workers worked hard and installed everything professionally.  I only like to know the options and what I am getting beforehand, as the cost of a new A/C is not cheap.  They don't seem to like to do business that way.  Also, didn't like the fact that it cost about $600 for them to diagnose old A/C, and for them to tell me to get a new one.  I knew that before I spent $600 for them to "diagnose" the problem.
Overall, I have mixed feeling about TACO.  If you know exactly what you want, and what it should cost, they are the best.  If you are looking for any type of guidance whatsoever, or a "business-like" approach when dealing with someone, look elsewhere.  That's as fair as I can be.

"Aaron and his partner Dan installed a 240V outlet for our Tesla charging needs and a way to hook up emergency backup generator to our electrical panel. Both projects were completed quickly, with attention to detail and using a minimum of expensive materials. Everything was property wired, sealed, etc. Everything, including the generator hookup, was tested immediately after the job was completed and worked perfectly. Aaron is friendly and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"One worker arrived at 9 am, very nice guy - didn't have the tools for the job but did it anyway in 90 degree heat. Determined to do what was needed despite not having the proper tools. I loaned him what tools I had so that he could finish the job. Excellent service considering that they didn't properly outfit him."

"Erwin was a pleasure to hire....he explained his fees and services on the phone and made an appointment to come to my apartment the next day...arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and HONEST. He repaired my hot tub with labor only when he could have told me I needed expensive unneeded parts which he didn't. Definitely recommend him if you need an HONEST person to do any pool or spa work for you."

Sauna Installation questions, answered by experts

A home sauna may be considered a luxury item by some homebuyers, which can provide a good return on investment. However, whether it increases your home's value ultimately depends on the buyer, as some may not want to take on the extra costs and maintenance associated with heating and upkeep.

It will take several hours or more to build a sauna. A prefab kit will take anywhere from three to 20 hours to install, depending on complexity and your skill level. If you’re doing a custom build, it can take more than 50 hours—especially if you need to add ventilation, ductwork, and other renovations.

Considering the cost of tools, parts, and hiring assisted labor, building your own sauna can cost almost as much as purchasing one. It is less expensive to buy sauna kits, since they are premade and easier to set up. Still, you may need to hire a professional to assist in electric or plumbing installation.

Most people will opt to put their home sauna outside near a pool or on a screened-in porch so the heat doesn’t move into the rest of the house. If your house has enough room, you may choose to put it in a bathroom so you can shower right after.

The primary difference between a steam shower and a sauna is the type of heat they produce. A sauna generates dry heat using electricity, while a steam shower creates wet heat from steam, resulting in nearly 100% humidity. A steam shower typically replaces an existing shower, has an opening at the top, and operates at a lower temperature (around 90-120°F) than a sauna, though the high humidity can make it feel just as warm. It is advisable to limit steam sessions to 20 minutes. In contrast, a sauna is a fully enclosed space that can be placed anywhere in a house and produces dry heat.
