Going back to 1973 when Dennis C. Braendel started the company with one used truck and a step ladder, his policy then and still today is 'Our customers are satisfied customers.' Our mission is to give only the highest quality job at the fairest price possible. We are very thankful and proud to serve the community from one generation to the next several generations. In 2004 Jeff Catrabone branched out to the western New York region, bringing a braendel shop to the Buffalo community. He moved to Buffalo with two painters and one van, the buffalo branch now has over twenty painters and ten vans. They also offer a full carpentry crew that features anything from small wood repairs to full bath and kitchen remodels. Braendel has recently bought a new stand alone building in Tonawanda, NY and continue to build a bigger and better company. No. If you overlap seams, the wallpaper will not come out flat. In addition to possibly throwing off your pattern match between rolls, overlapping seems necessary. If wallpaper is properly acclimated, and temperature and moisture conditions are optimal during installation, there is no reason to fear shrinkage as it dries.

It’s possible to hang your own wallpaper, but the process is tedious and potentially frustrating, and it can be challenging to get seams to line up and look clean and professional. Plus, depending on the type of wallpaper you’re installing, using too much or too little adhesive could cause damage to your drywall or plaster, peeling, and bubbling in the final product. It’s usually a better idea to hire a professional wallpaper installer to do the work for you, as the relatively low cost is justifiable, if only to avoid damage to your walls.

To layer wallpaper over wallpaper, inspect your existing wallpaper for problem areas. Damaged wallpaper should not be covered. If it’s okay to proceed, prep by turning off the electricity and removing any outlet and switch covers. Dust your walls and lightly rinse them to prevent the existing paper from peeling. Apply primer, then apply your new wallpaper.

You shouldn’t need extra adhesive for peel-and-stick backsplash tile. The adhesive on the back of the tile sheets should do the trick. However, if you experience issues with the tile peeling or falling off, make sure the wall you’re working on isn’t textured, as that can prevent the materials from properly adhering.
