"Don't waste you time. I got a quote in June, Deposited the first week of July, and was told it would be 8-12 weeks for installation. They came out a week later to measure and order the windows (large, not standard size). A month later I got a check for my deposit refunded with no explanation. Spent a WEEK calling to find out what is going on (was this an error?). Finally got to speak to a manager who said they canceled my order/contract becuase they decided the slope of the windows (sun room) was too low for them to warranty the order, but "forgot" to reach out and tell me it was canceled. Both the salesperson and the person who measured the order a week later didn't see a problem with the angle, it took them a month to "realize" there was an issue with the slope. This manager then made a few jokes about me driving the office crazy with my calls, and how they really didn't want to refund my deposit, so they could spend it on a party. After waiting 2 months on them is not the time to make jokes about how unprofessional they were. I get it, mistakes happen, but not returning my calls when I am just looking for answers, and you acknowledging you messed up is just crappy business."

We Do Interior Remodeling Including Drywall, Painting Siding Roofing Window and Door Installation Tree Removal & Full Land Cleaning Services As Well & more

"DO NOT hire Dan Ford aka Dan the Handyman. I hired him to install a stone walkway and it is a complete disaster. The workmanship is terrible. The walkway is falling apart, breaking and lifting and is a trip hazard. I had to take him to court to get my payment refunded. I was awarded the judgment, but Dan Ford has NOT paid. I ended up having to file a transcript of judgment with the County Court and have a lien placed on him and his business. He still has NOT paid. Do NOT hire Dan Ford aka Dan the Handyman."

Bathtub Restoration questions, answered by experts

Refinishing a bathtub is a project you can do at the same time as refinishing a porcelain sink. If your tub is the same age as your sink, consider getting a quote. Most homeowners spend about $480 on the cost of refinishing a bathtub, but it ranges between $335 and $630, depending on the size, style, and material of the tub.

If your bathtub is in overall good shape with minor scratches, discoloration, or just general wear and tear, it's best (and less expensive) to refinish it.

If your tub has large cracks, is leaking, or is otherwise severely damaged, we recommend replacing it with a new bathtub. Refinishing a bathtub can only fix superficial problems, so these issues will still be present or reappear after a refinishing.

Two alternatives to reglazing are installing a bathtub inlay or a bathtub liner. An inlay is a low-priced mat that adheres to the bottom of a bathtub or shower. It’s useful for sealing minor leaks and concealing damage on the bottom of a tub. On the other hand, a bathtub liner is essentially a protective casing that goes over the entire tub. They are usually custom-fit and cost more than reglazing yet don’t last as long.

Regular cleaning, checking seals, and ensuring faucets remain functional help maintain performance, along with periodic inspections.

Persistent leaks, outdated styles, or surface damage are indicators for a replacement.
