Several months back we wanted to update our detached 2 car garage and build an attic for storage and finish the inside. Having met with numerous contractors Robert stood out to us the most due to his meticulous thought process, creative ideas and his flexibility. Rather than providing us a basic quote he proposed numerous ideas on how to make the garage best suit our needs. Before even committing to Robert he wrote a detailed proposal with a variety of options, allowing us to make an educated decision based upon our budget. Once we signed up to work with him, we met several times even before beginning the project to go over the process and our wishlist. As Robert got to know us as a family he also made helpful suggestionsâ for example installing a spotlight for our dogs, installing an outlet in the garden so we could have string lights on the fence in the summertime, increasing the amps in our garage panel box, and recommending a steel beam to span our garage so we didnâ t need a support pole in the middle of the floor space. Never once did he make a decision without consulting us and went over the prices with us for modifications to the original plan. Truly transparent! "Very happy with the quality, timing and price. Good communication as well. The old roof had to be removed from both the main house and detached garage. The house had multiple layers of shingles that needed to come off and the garage also had the original cedar shingles in addition to the many layers of asphalt shingles. It was very messy getting the old roof off but the crew was really good about cleaning up. At the end of the first day the yard was a clean as it was before the work started. The entire job took only two days and the crew was able to start work the same week I signed the contract. Because less plywood was used than was quoted, the final price was even a few bucks less than the contracted price I agreed to. So overall I am very happy. Was a really smooth and easy project compared to past home projects."
