"I hired Long Island handyman construction group to remodel a 400sf basement and bathroom in Melville. They were priced in the middle compared to other bids. I picked them thanks to their out of the box advice which saved me thousands of dollars. There was one problem with the plumbing which cost an extra 1800 dollars. The owner settled with me 50/50 even though it was a pre-existing issue. The project was started early and completed early. All mess was cleaned up and the crew was very friendly and fully aware. "From start to finish everything was easy. Bob walked us through a plan to completely renovate our kitchen, living room, bedrooms, basement and bathroom. Nothing had been updated since 1975 and now everything is brand new. They worked fast and efficient. Will be bringing them back in the spring for more updates on the outside of the house. "When selecting the building material Bill the owner was helpful and did not try to push any product. The project was done with great care, on time, and at a fare cost. Communication between myself and Bill was great, as was the communication with the rest of his team. While working on this project Stone's discovered a leaking drain. Although not part of the original scope they repaired the drain promptly and remediated all water damage. I highly recommend Stone's construction and will consider them for all future projects."
