"Ryan was super responsive and professional. He provided quotes quickly and updated them, when needed. We had to wait for warmer weather to get started, and Ryan reached out to me promptly when the weather changed to get us on the books. He and his team were thorough and professional. The day they were supposed to lay the concrete, he canceled the delivery last minute because the weather was not conducive to proper curing. I was thankful he did that, because I would not have known the difference. I'd highly recommend them. Our driveway looks great. We just had to get some topsoil to fill in the edges after the frame was removed."

"I hired Sunnyside to redo a rear patio and repair a front stoop at my Mothers house. Had front stoop rebuilt, walkways redone in Bluestone and a large concrete patio removed and replaced. I liked them so much I had them redo the stucco at her foundation wall and repoint her brick chimney as well. They showed up everyday ontime and Aidan offered a lot of different choices as to the finish of the concrete patio. My mother is ecstatic of the look and their quality and attention to detail is top notch.Clean up was done when the job was finished. Highly recommended!"

"All of the work done was excellent, we found the pricing to be fair & reasonable, Chuck & Shawn know their business & it's apparent in the quality of their work. The work crew was a joy & as I'm around it makes a difference. Also recently hired again for a major kitchen & porch remodel & wouldn't consider hiring any one else, trustworthy, honest & professional"

"It went excellent!  Hi Tech Construction Co gave me a detail estimate of the job.  And compared to other estimates I received from several other companies, Hi Tech's was the most reasonably priced.  Hi Tech also gave me a timeline of the job from beginning to finish and they were right on target.  The crews showed up on time and carried out the job like experts - they surely looked like they knew what they were doing.  I noticed that they were very concerned about the safety of our neighbors, anybody passing by, their crews, and us.  They also cleaned everything right after they finished their job.  I was really happy with the timeliness and the quality of their job.  I will definitely strongly recommend Hi Tech.  I do not think you can go wrong with them.

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

While a high-speed circular saw will cut through metal, and even cut through multiple sheets at once, the fast-spinning saw blades create a lot of heat. This heat can damage paint and other protective coatings, leading to serious problems like rust over time. The cost to paint a metal roof again to avoid this damage is typically an additional $0.50 to $1 per square foot.

Your typical household tools will not cut a metal pipe. To cut a metal pipe, you’d need more specialized tools like a pipe cutter or circular saw. Do not attempt to use these tools without taking proper safety precautions and wearing safety gear. It’s usually safer to let a pro cut a metal pipe, especially if you’re not confident in your skills with a heavy-duty saw.

This all depends on the tools you have on hand and whether you’re trying to cut a straight line or shapes.

The best tool to use for straight lines is either a circular saw or table saw. When cutting shapes, a jigsaw will be the easiest and most precise tool to use.

There are a few things you can ask welders before you hire them to get an idea of their experience and ability levels:

  • Are you licensed and certified?

  • How long have you been in the welding business?

  • Do you commonly do the type of welding I need?

  • Do you offer any kind of warranty for your work?

  • Do you charge by the hour or by the project?

  • How long do you expect my welding project to take?

  • What steps do you take to minimize errors in your work?

The average cost for a welding project is about $300, with typical costs ranging from $125 to $490. However, prices can be as low as $125 for very small jobs or exceed $1,200 for large or complex projects. Welders typically charge an hourly rate between $65 and $150, depending on their experience, and many charge a minimum fee to cover overhead and travel expenses. The total cost is influenced by several factors, including labor, the cost of materials like metal rods and shielding gas, the type of metal being welded, the project's size and complexity, and your geographic location. For a precise quote, it's best to ask a local welder for an estimate based on your specific project.
