Matthew answered the phone on the first try and from that point on was a first class professional all the way. He explained everything from procedure to time frame to cost. His crew followed up exactly as was explained. They were polite, very hard workers, and did a magnificent job. They didnt leave a twig, carted all of the debris away and cut the logs into fireplace length and even stacked them for me. I highly recommend them and will hire them again!! In most cases, hiring a tree surgeon or arborist is very often worth the investment. Arborists have education and certifications that standard tree removal companies usually don’t, leading to overall better and more professional service. Tree removal is safer with an arborist, especially if the tree you’re taking down is diseased or infested. Stump grinding is done to a safe depth that won’t cause your lawn to collapse over time, and other services are all backed by greater experience and expertise. If you want truly expert-level service, opt for an arborist.

A tree can grow back from its stump, but full regrowth is unlikely (especially for more stubborn conifer trees). Instead, trees are more likely to send up a number of shoots from the dead stump, which will try to develop into primary stems over time. In other words, it will start to look increasingly bushy. In addition, they can drop large branches on your house, make it easier for critters and insects to access your home, and encourage mold growth. But if the tree has been there for a long time, it may not pose a risk to your foundation, and it could be more beneficial—not to mention cheaper—to strategically trim it instead.
