"We called them out to check the downstairs shower was not putting out water, and the cartridge was just replaced and to check for a poss water leak upstairs as there was a small brown spot forming on ceiling. They sent out 2 gentlemen. They had the guys out there within an hour which I was super impressed with & they seemed nice & professional. the phone service was excellent when I called in. They looked at the shower and saw that there was no water coming out and told us that it need a new cartridge. We told them that the cartridge was just replaced days ago to try and fix this problem and it didn't work, and that we also tried to blow thru the pipe from the shower nozzle to the cartridge opening and could not get any air thru there. The guys insisted it was the cartridge and they could go no further until they replaced it with a new one. So we agreed, who knows I could have installed it incorrectly or purchased the wrong one. They installed a new cartridge and WOW, no water. They then told us that the valve assembly looks to be installed incorrectly when the cold was built and that must be why theres no water (they couldn't notice this prior to replacing brand new parts?) and that to replace the valve they would need to cut thru the backside wall to gain access and gave us an estimate. i have a hard time believing the valve was installed incorrectly when the condo was built, as i would think that the original purchaser, the inspector, somebody would have noticed, its possible but doesn't seem likley to me. My brother thinks the shower worked when we first moved in 6 months ago, but we are not 100% certain. We will most likely find someone to come out and give us a second opinion before we go any further. They did look at the possible leak upstairs and tightened the drain on the tub, which is where they believe the leak was coming from. the spot on the ceiling is small and has not grown in the pst 4 weeks or so. Overall I would probably not use them again just for the fact that the service guys did not seem to listen to what the symptoms were or the steps we took to try and diagnose the problem before they got here. I understand that the have to work on stuff that a do it yourselfer messed up quite often and can't take my word for anything, but to have to replace a part and then notice that they think the valve is installed upside down is just unacceptable to me.
Update 5-17-2015. i had another plumber come out for a second opinion. He found that the gals was NOT installed incorrectly but that there was a blockage between the shower head & the valve. I was standing there when he removed the "new" cartridge from the valve & I saw that the gaskets on the cartridge were torn upon installation & it was missing an Oring. So i had to buy yet a 3rd cartridge. i would not recommend this company based on my experience with them & will be contacting them for a refund of the cost of the part they damaged during installation."

"Where do I even start.... If I could give Do it Your Painting & More 100 stars, I would. I recently lost my father and acquired his house that needed quite a bit of work and a fresh facelift. He was a smoker and because of his health declining, was unable to keep up on some basic maintenance. After submitting a request for a quote through Angi's List, Dajuan responded promptly and professionally and answered many of my questions, that I'm sure were all over the place. Trying to handle a house project 1000 miles away and trying to find someone to do it was extremely overwhelming and stressful, especially while grieving, but Dajuan's understanding and communication made the process a lot smoother. He was able to meet me at my Father's house last minute while we were in town to go over some job options and gave me some advice to help me make some decisions. After a good month or so of a massive texting conversation, funding hiccups and decision making delays on my part, Dajuan and crew got the job done in the time frame I needed and came back in a timely manner to fix a couple things and complete a couple more jobs I added on at the end. He suggested a couple options for some weird issues in the house and pointed out some issues that need to be taken care of in the future that I can do on my own. Everything was perfect and the finished project came out 100x better than I had imagined and the smoke smell is gone! I am so thankful that the stars aligned to have found Dajuan and crew for this job. It was so nice to find someone who could tackle not only the painting but flooring installation, small kitchen remodel and stubborn ceiling fan installation. A package deal! "Victor arrived on time and dressed like a professional painter. He went over the work I had asked him to do and even helped remove some large paintings from the wall. He was very through and careful with his work. I had changed colors so it is very clear to me that he covered the walls beautifully.

"The house was built with an open-air deck above one half of the garage, and the garage completely sheet rocked, textured, and painted. A water leak developed in the deck a while ago and damaged the ceiling below. The deck was resealed and tested, and we finally got around to having the garage ceiling repaired. I had Tim of Tim's Handyman Services come out, look it over and give me an estimate. I was favorably impressed and we scheduled the work. Tim and an assistant arrived on the scheduled day and began removing the damaged sheet rock. At this point it was found that the ceiling was insulated with fiberglass batts which were somewhat moldy. The old batts were removed, the area cleaned with bleach,and, after a trip to the store, replaced. New sheet rock was then installed, taped and sanded, then sprayed with popcorn texturing to match the rest of the ceiling. The entire job was done in two days and looked great. The estimated price was adjusted to cover the new insulation and was very reasonable. I was extremely satisfied with all aspects of the job. Before he left, I had Tim look at a concrete patio I wanted tiled, and he is doing that job even as I write this review. "
