"I had a bad computer board in my oven. they said they would not cover it because they found a roach. This is Florida we have some roaches. i do not have a bug problem. It has nothing to do with a bad computer board. This company looks for a way to deny claims. i had one other claim and they tried to deny it as well. Save yourself some agravation and stay away. They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

"I used CERL on a number of mold inspections and for testing. They did great at providing results needed and going general inspections prior to home purchase. My only recommendation is to call CERL to review the report with them as they are difficult to understand and they are careful how they word things as they have to be careful working in Santa Fe with some much property bought and sold. I plan to use them for future testing that I will need done. I feel they are the best in town and well work the cost of the mold inspection to know what your purchasing."

As a home seller, you may want to conduct a pre-listing home inspection to help you finalize a fair asking price for your property. In most cases, though, the homebuyer pays for the inspection. This allows them to make an informed decision before proceeding with any purchase. A post-drywall inspection could uncover many problems that weren’t present during the pre-drywall inspection, including insufficient insulation, missing weather stripping, improperly installed plumbing and lighting fixtures, flooring damage, drywall damage, plumbing leaks, aesthetic issues, and more. Structural problems, which are often expensive to fix and are common reasons to walk away after a home inspection, are easier to see before the drywall goes up, but a post-drywall inspection may highlight minor issues with house settling and foundation problems.

The same conditions that can generate creaking sounds in your home can also create a whole range of other sounds, many of which are just as strange. When the materials your house consists of move in any way and any amount, they can rub against each other or the fasteners that hold them in place. A random cracking sound from time to time is usually just a response to these movements.

The small lines on the tape measure either indicate inches, fractions of an inch, or centimeters and millimeters. On the imperial unit side (aka the inches side), the longest lines indicate inches, followed by the next shortest lines that indicate a half-inch, and then the quarter, eighth, and sixteenth-inch. On the metric side, the lines break down meters, centimeters, and millimeters.

Any good contract company will do their own post-work inspection and walkthrough with their clients, but you shouldn’t consider these a replacement for a third-party pre-drywall inspection. Even a small mistake or oversight can lead to big issues down the line. Having an objective, neutral professional perform the inspection will help to make sure nothing goes overlooked.
