"I was surprised to see all the good ratings as I had bad experiences with this company.. They installed the furnace and AC. This summer the AC stopped working, I called and a worker came and replaced the refrigerant which let the AC work for 24 hours before it stopped again. I called again and two workers showed up and looked around and fixed the AC. On the first trip the worker thought it would be covered by warranty since they Donner installed the systems. The workers were good but the office were crooks. They charged me $974.01 for the first trip where the worker spent 15-20 minutes to add refrigerator fluid which only let the AC work for one day. I called again and they sent two workers that did some investigation and did some repairs. I was charged $1215.09 for the second call. The office never sent me an invoice that stated the number of work hours, the cost for the labor, the listed or cost of materials used. It looked like the office just pulled numbers out of a hat. "

After this happened, one of the American Leak employees informed a manager of the "non-performance" so that this bill could be waived, but the manager not only insisted this bill be paid, but was going to impose late fees if it was not paid shortly after the conversation. You’ll get better results by pressure washing water-based sealants. However, it’s worth trying on any sealant if you’re hoping for the least toxic, least expensive, and most DIY-friendly option. To try this method, rent or buy the most powerful pressure washer you can find and take several passes at the concrete, completely pressure washing the entire area. You may need to repeat the process multiple times to see results.

Removing a concrete slab is challenging and physically demanding. The job becomes even more complex and taxing if the concrete is thicker than 4 inches. You can use a sledgehammer and pry bar to remove the concrete off a patio or sidewalk, creating cracks in the concrete and removing the pieces. If the concrete is a larger area, such as a driveway, hiring a pro with the training and skills to use a jackhammer is often best.

To remove solvent-based sealer, you can pressure wash the surface and wait for the concrete to dry. You may need a special remover product if you have a water-based concrete sealer. Another option is to etch and neutralize the concrete. 

Large boulders may require professional assistance or heavy machinery to break them up safely and efficiently for removal. To do it yourself, use a masonry drill bit to drill holes into the boulder's surface at weak points or natural cracks. Once the holes are in place, insert metal wedges and shims. Then, strike the wedges with a sledgehammer to apply pressure and split the boulder along the drilled lines. It is vital to wear safety gear that protects your eyes, hands, feet, and body while performing this task.
