"We have lived in our current home for about 13 years and have not had to do any major repair or maintenance to the exterior until this year.  We noticed cracking and spalling on the stucco and assumed that our roof (flat spray-on foam) probably needed maintenance as well.  We called Santa Fe Stucco and Roofing to come and inspect the exterior and roof and provide us an estimate for repair.  Kevin came on a Friday morning and measured the roof and wall area and sat with me to explain in detail what he found and what would need to be done to bring it back into good condition.  He also went back to his office and worked up a detailed estimate and emailed it to me within a few days.  During the next couple of weeks I had two other contractors come and inspect the exterior walls and roof and provide estimates for the work.  In each case they confirmed what Kevin had already told me and submitted proposals of their own for the scope of work.  We ultimately decided to use one of the other contractors for this project, however I was greatly impressed with the professionalism, promptness and accuracy of Kevin's evaluation of our situation.  Although we weren't able to do this project with Santa Fe Stucco and Roofing, I will not hesitate to call them for other projects in the future or recommend them to others.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
