"excellent - Klean Force uses an outside lab to analyze the mold & determine type which I think is important. Gary was very responsive and when they started remediation, the black mold was worse than expected. They were helpful in determining the source of the leak, which confirmed the fix we had done. The remediation was a neat as possible. I would recommend them for any testing and remediation."

"The reason I had my carpet cleaned was due to vacuuming a lot as I kept hearing dirt coming up.. My husband, sick of me vacuuming, requested I have them professionally cleaned. I informed Chem-Dry twice that there was a lot of dirt under the carpet and they assured me they could get them clean. The carpets were cleaned July 23 looked worse the next day and the traffic areas were still dirty. . A man came back July 25 and, after calling his office, was told there was too much dirt in the carpet and the only thing he could do was use a buffer to try to remove the brown spots and brown strip along base boards that were left from the shampooing. Knowing there was dirt under the carpet they should have saved me the expense and declined the job, I could have checked with another professional which I can't afford to do now. They were here about 3hrs. 45min. and before cleaning the 964 sq. ft. of carpet they spent a lot of time cleaning 4 pieces of furniture, so I think maybe they wee in a hurry to finish the carpet, who knows. The total cost including the furniture was over $700. The carpet was brighter, but again, trying to vacuum up the dirt, frustrated, I called Chem-Dry on August 24 and again complained and was told the owner would call me. Nobody ever called back. Cost below is for carpet only."

Upholstery Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can use a 1:1 solution of vinegar and water to deal with everyday dirt and dust. Dip a microfiber cloth in the solution and wipe the leather down in circular motions.

Anything that might have been exposed to fumigation chemicals should be washed before use. Wipe down and sanitize surfaces like countertops and tables, and wash all utensils (or take care to store them in an airtight box beforehand), as well as anything else that could find its way into someone’s mouth, like kid or pet toys.

If your couch has a non-washable upholstery, you’ll likely need to use dry cleaning products rather than foam or liquid cleaners. If that’s the case, we strongly recommend hiring a professional upholstery cleaner to get the job done. Some dry cleaning products are dangerous to use, and those with abrasive chemicals can destroy certain types of fabric. A professional furniture cleaner will know which to use and in what quantity for a safe, deep clean.

Getting an upholstery cleaner depends on whether you feel you’ll use it often. As a specific piece of cleaning equipment, it can be a costly investment if it's left sitting only for special occasions. But if you clean your upholstered furniture regularly, investing in this specialty tool could save you time and money in the long run.

You can use baking soda to start getting the urine odor out of your mattress. Baking soda is highly absorbent and soaks up odors, so it will not only draw the urine out of your mattress but it can also get to work fighting the lingering smell. You can also use an enzymatic cleaner to break down the urine to make it easier to clean. Just keep in mind that you need to remove enzymatic cleaners from the mattress after use, as leaving them on could be dangerous.
