"During the demolition of my burned out residence they found a box of pictures and they rescued them for me and put them on a safe place. Also they discovered a bee hive during the removal and contacted someone to come remove the hive. I can't recommend them highly enough. It was a pleasure doing business with them"

"   Gary gave me a bid that I thought was very competitive.  In fact it was lower than I expected so I enlarged the building from 600 to 700 sq ft.
My wife and I were out of town during much of the construction.  Gary kept me fully informed of progress with pictures.  He made several very good suggestions as to little changes in the plans that have turned out to be very useful.  When he had questions, he sent me pictures so we could decide how to proceed.
He finished in slightly less than the time allowed in the schedule.
The final price was slightly more than the bid, and I could see that each of the additional price items was exactly what we had agreed to when the changes were made.
My wife and I are delighted with the art studio, and to this day, we count Gary as one of our best friends in Albuquerque.  We have highly recommended him to our friends that want any remodeling, or new construction."

Lead Testing and Removal questions, answered by experts

Lead testing prior to purchasing a property ensures that the new owners are informed about potential hazards, prevents health risks associated with lead poisoning, and facilitates timely remediation.

Unfortunately, lead dust does not look different from any other type of dust. You cannot detect it with the naked eye. To determine if you have lead dust in your home, you will need to hire a local company to take a sample from the paint and test it for you in a lab.

No, you can’t place hazardous waste in a dumpster unless you specifically ordered a dumpster for hazardous waste removal. If the dumpster company finds hazardous waste that it didn’t approve for dumping, the company will return the waste to you, and you’ll likely face a fine for illegal dumping.

While the EPA provides guidelines for homeowners to perform DIY lead paint removal, it is a risky process and generally not recommended due to serious health risks and strict regulatory requirements. The process requires precise safety precautions, such as wearing a respirator and protective eyeglasses, creating sealed exits, and using a HEPA vacuum for cleanup. To ensure the job is done safely, effectively, and in compliance with regulations, it is highly recommended to hire a professional lead abatement company. Certified professionals have the necessary training, experience, and specialized equipment (like chemical strippers and HEPA vacuums) to handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely.

According to the EPA, there is no safe level of lead in the blood, and so the maximum contaminant level goal (MCLG) for lead in water is zero. Even at low levels, lead is harmful to human health. It can also remain in the body and build up over time with repeated exposure.
