"So, my wife and I had it in our minds to stop paying someone else’s mortgage and start paying our own. After getting approved by the VA for a home loan (sidenote, that as an amazing experience from start to finish… I’ve heard horror stories about VA loans, but my experience could not have been anything more to the contrary.
