"It went excellently. The workers arrived on time. Did the job in a very timely manner. Let me inspect the work before payment. Left everything clean and tidy. Very good service."
"Not good. We had just replaced an element and they told us it was the wrong one and took the element but we had just put on and was going to bring back the proper one as well as the one that they had taken off they brought back a different one never brought back the new one that they had taken off but I had already replaced and two days later the furnace quit blowing hot air againI was told it would be more than a week before somebody could get out there and I had a newborn baby that was born less than a week earlier.. needless to say we ended up calling another company and the element was not the problem it's just that they were dirty posts on one of the firing pins it took a minute half with steel wool to clean it off and my furnace works works great ever since.
we won't be using them again for our heating needs "

"Medicore. This is the second deal of this kind I've tried (x hours for Y $). It's not such a great deal and this contractor was not ideal. The worker who was sent to complete the deal was very polite, but poorly prepared and without a drop cloth or a ladder. Wish I had insisted on putting down some protection on the floor, because I had to clean up stains in the carpet afterwards. I was satisfied with the 30 minutes of work he performed. A unskilled helper accompanied him. Because there were two workers, I was told I would get my four hours in just two hours. After 30 minutes of work and 30 minutes waiting for mud to dry, the worker suggested they return to do some texture work. This was fine with me, but then he misrepresented (to his boss) the amount of time he and his companion had been here working. The contractor offered to do the texturing, but suggested I had just about used up the 4 hours of the deal. At that point point I decided to call it quits. I cannot recommend this kind of deal, unless you're certain you have 4 hours of work. Even then, it is sometimes a little challenge to get your value out of the deal. Obviously, contractors are looking to get into your house and quickly engage you in further work. The deal may be a good way to "preview" contractors. I can't recommend this one. "

As with many appliances, proper maintenance is key to maximizing your garbage disposal’s life span. If everyone in your household is on board with proper care and maintenance, like running water while operating the disposal, you should get plenty of years out of your unit. Avoid putting the wrong food items down the disposal, including pasta, rice, bread, and more.
Snakes can occasionally enter homes through shower drains, although it’s quite rare. This can happen when they follow sewer pipes or accidentally find their way into plumbing systems. To minimize the risk, consider installing drain covers or stoppers on your shower drains. Always keep drains closed when they’re not in use, especially in areas where snakes are known to be active.
The drain pump will naturally make a standard operational and draining sound several times throughout your dishwasher cycle. If you hear abnormally loud sounds like scraping, grinding, or clicking, you may have food debris or a piece of glass stuck in your drain filter. Avoid dishwasher repair by always scraping food off your dishes and loading the racks correctly.
Unlike regular cleanings, snaking your sewer line should be done as needed. There’s no reason to snake your sewer line if you don’t have any noticeable issues, like slow drainage or plugged drains. You can add it to your regular sewer cleaning checklist as a prevention method (on the same 18- to 22-month schedule), but it’s not always necessary.
The cost to clean a sewer line is about $370, ranging from about $190 to $550 on average. The specific cleaning method and the problem's severity will impact the project's overall cost.
Some of the most common sewer line cleaning methods include:
Snaking or rodding: $100–$250
Hydrojetting: $350–$600
Chemical treatments: $600–$1,000
Repair or replacement: $1,000–$7,500
