"Very pleased with the results. Mr. Salim Barraza worked very hard to replace our bathtub with a walk-in shower and was friendly throughout the whole process. It looked wonderful when it was finished. 5 stars!!"

"They remodeled my main bath half way which included the ceiling fan, a lavatory and a new sink. I am still planning on putting in a new type of fiberglass shower by taking the tub out. They also remodeled a second half bath with a new lavatory, a new toilet and a new ceiling fan. I have used them over and over again because I don’t figure that I can get better than what the plumber is. I have probably paid them about $2000 or $3000 for the work done by them this year. In the last 3 years, I have probably employed them at least 6 times. I don’t call anybody else and I only call them. I had a new cooler installed in my house this past spring in April and that project was about $1000. I like them because their price is right. I keep going back to them because the hassle of trying to get several different people and estimates is overwhelming. I like to stick with them because I know that they do a good job. They put in a new forced-air heating system for me about 2 or 3 years ago. It was about $2500 for that project. They are excellent and their price is good. Everything about them is excellent. PHC Systems is a small organization. It’s a one man ownership with 2 or 3 workers. He is not overwhelmed with his staff. He is able to accomplish jobs with the small workforce that he has. The plumber in the way of plumbing, heating and cooling is a big part of keeping our home in a good shape."

"The first day, demolition day, they had all the old stuff out, and a new window in place.  Second day, tile began going up in the shower/tub area.  My wife wanted a niche built into the wall, and that was framed and most of that tile was in place.  Up graded plumbing was roughed in.  Third day, shower/tub area tile completed, including inside the niche.  New, custom made cabinet/vanity was installed.  Finishing touches on the shower/tub tile including grouting.  Floor tile was installed and grouted.  walls and ceiling painted.  New light fixture installed.  Fourth day, light fixture had to be relocated along with an electrical outlet.  Vince did this and patched the wall and did touch up painting.  Vince did an excellent job and we couldn't tell there had ever been holes in the wall, even though we knew they had been.  Vince also did the painting, and even patched and textured places in the kitchen that were in need of cosmetic help due to water leaks!  Did an excellent job and didn't even charge us for this work.

The new tub suffered a chip (probably from falling tile) and they are taking care of that.   Everyone involved went out of their way to insure that we had exactly what we wanted.

My wife is extremely happy with the way the whole job turned out.  Art was very accommodating and understanding and always responded in a very professional and quick manner.  Laura in the office made sure communications were passed along without delay."

Bathtub Restoration questions, answered by experts

Of the two most common and affordable bathtub materials, acrylic is notably better. Though fiberglass is cheaper, it is also more prone to scratching, chipping, fading, and cracking. Acrylic holds up better to wear and tear, cleaning, and sun exposure; the slight cost increase is usually worth the increased longevity.

Clean with non-abrasive cleaners, avoid harsh chemicals, and periodically check seals to prevent water infiltration.

Resurfacing or refacing extends the life of existing surfaces, saves on replacement costs, and reduces waste, offering a refreshed look with less downtime.

Epoxy helps protect your garage floor from moisture, staining, and cracks over time. Concrete itself is typically porous, and epoxy fills those tiny holes and creates a smooth finish. Installing garage floor epoxy may also extend the life span of your garage to upwards of 20 years, as it strengthens the concrete and helps prevent water from seeping through it.

Refinished bathtubs typically need to be refinished every five years or so. Frequent cleaning and use will break down the finish and make cracks and chips appear more readily. Cracks and chips tend to grow once they begin unless they are repaired immediately. Ideally, you should refinish your bathtub before it gets old enough that refinishing isn’t worth the hassle.
