"My husband and I owned a home that we rented out in the Taos NM area. We live in Los Angeles , CA. The tenants absolutely trashed the place but we are too far away to be able to handle cleaning it up and making electrical and plumbing repairs ourselves so we needed someone upon whom we could rely to get a feel for how he would be to work with.
