"We had Babcock build/move a few walls, move our boiler, and move some electrical so our washing machine/dryer could be moved to another room. There was tile flooring done as well. The initial part of the job was fine. But when the subs were involved, things got out of control. The electrician decided to do some things in our boiler room without running it by us. Then a guy adding our dryer duct work decided to do something we explicitly didn't want done. That was fixed, but the more we looked, the more we saw the subs doing whatever they had to do the job quickly, not cleanly. Here we two years later and I am still finding sub-par work - things that make it look *I* did the job on the fly, not a "professional". Examples - the plumber cut out some copper tubing that was part of a heating zone. Rather than copper it back together, he decided to use PEX on a line whose water gets to 200F, above the rating of PEX. He insulated it, however, so one couldn't readily see what he did. Today, admittedly 2 years later, I go into the roof space and find the electrician installed some junction boxes and decided to leave them on the floor. Very quality job work - definitely show up on the next home inspection. Overall Babcock and brothers seemed fine. They choice and oversight of the subs was poor. If you go with them make sure to spec everything out that the subs will do, otherwise they will do it wrong. Fortunately we had them do a relatively small job before a possible kitchen remodel. Glad we didn't have these subs handle a bigger job that needs quality"

Once again they did an outstanding job, very professional, kept the workplace very clean. The quality of the install and the materials used were excellent. We did have a slight delay in fitting the glass due to availability of the product. Juan Beltran Jr did a nice job on the glass install, one thing we didnâ t realize at the time was a brace bar would be needed due to the size of the glass panel. This was fitted on a subsequent visit by Juan. When we first used the shower we noticed it was slow to drain, this was addressed very promptly in a service visit by Darien Davis. A big thanks to our project manager Scott who promptly addressed any concerns we had, he kept us informed on timelines for materials and ensured we were satisfied with the end result."

"Arrived same day when he said he would. Checked septic tank, rooted out drains, went under house and saw the drain pipe had sagged at one spot so water was having to drain uphill. Rehung pipe and tested. Explained everything to my wife as they were doing it. Very friendly, professional and affordable. Pointed out a potential problem with the drain line where it exits the house but thought it was ok unless the house settled more. They even added more screws to the septic tank inspection lids. They were here for about two hours. Excellent, quick, honest, affordable service. I will do business with them in the future and appreciated the warning about the potential future issue with an approximate cost to fix it if it did become a problem. Call these guys first.
