"Hoover’s was the ONLY one to get back to me and rather quickly. I decided to go ahead and use them. Aaron and Marcos were very professional and polite. Cleaned my HVAC ducts, exhaust vents, and my dryer vent (which was really dirty btw) in a timely manner and put everything back on when they were done. They cleaned up after themselves and even covered my stuff with plastic as they went. They took off their shoes as they came in and put down towels on the corners of furniture and the walls to avoid damaging them. Not sure if they were the cheapest option but they were the best option in my opinion. I’d definitely use them again. Thank you Marshall for answering me back and Aaron and Marcos for taking care of my vents."

Dryers pull in air from a circular opening in the back of the dryer. The dryer's heating element heats the air, and a blower fan circulates the hot air through the drum. The hot air travels outside the dryer through a vent or is cooled by a heat exchanger that condenses the steam into water and sends it down a drainpipe or to a containment compartment.

You have two different types of air vents in your home: supply and return air vents. Your supply air vents are responsible for pushing air into your home. It’s possible to remove too much humidity from the air, but it’s very unlikely. Dehumidifiers have moisture sensors and settings to control how they function, so they can pause when the air inside your home reaches a certain humidity level. This means that most modern dehumidifiers won’t dry out the air to the point where it’s uncomfortable. But older, more basic dehumidifiers that are left on too long could potentially dry out the air so much that your skin, hair, and sinuses start to feel dry.

You should also schedule special cleanings if you notice that your dryer is taking longer to dry than normal, if you see lint building up on the outside flapper or in the vent itself, if you notice your dryer vent leaking water, or if your clothes have an odd odor on them after going through a drying cycle.
