The work was completed in two and a half days. The clean up well done. The only thing I would want an improvement in was providing a complete material list with costs of each item. It was an insurance job so they used their estimate. The removal was quickly and clearly completed.

Badgers have a strong sense of smell, so it’s possible you can deter them with strong scents, such as applying citronella oil to the bottom of your fence, adding crushed scotch bonnet peppers sprinkled throughout your garden, or mixing both of these into a solution to spray around your home and garden.

While there are plenty of DIY home remedies for pests, trapping and fumigation costs are worth the investment when dealing with a serious infestation that is hard to get rid of, like termites, bed bugs, or mice.

DIY traps and sprays might help eliminate a few ants or the occasional mouse, but they're no match for a full-blown infestation. Call an extermination pro to locate where pests hide, how to treat the issue at the source, and how to keep it from returning.

To make sure the removal process goes smoothly, try asking your pro the following questions:

Are you licensed and insured?
How much experience do you have with relocating beehives?
Do you remove the honey and honeycomb?
Do you relocate the bees alive?
Do you have any references from previous clients?

The cost of removing a hornets nest ranges from $300 to $400, depending on the size and location of the active nest. Bald-faced hornet removal costs more than the average—about $625 to $750. The price tag also depends on the eradication method, ranging from aerosol sprays and dusting to vacuuming and extermination.
